Question, is it permissible to reshoot the 3 targets with the same gun, using the dot or grid target? In my case it would be reshooting the CZ with the dot target?
Or once you hit "Submit" that's it? i apologize if it was answered, and I didn't notice it. |

I'd be down for the "open" division with my G19 with RMR no idea when I will have time to make it to the range though I am swamped at work currently.

UPDATE: I believe this entry is complete.
Partial entry as a placeholder. I thought I brought a measuring device to the range but apparently I did not. I will update with group size later tonight. Open Rimfire - AeroEngineer - Ruger Mark III - 22LR - two hand - 3.380 (in) - 2.760(in) - 2.962 (in) Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File The pistol is a Ruger Mark III, which is stock except for the addition of a picatinny rail and Primary Arms Micro dot. I was shooting Aguila Super Extra HV 40 gr plated RN. |
|
I was able to access the target, but when I printed it only gave me "fit to page" or "custom" as choices, not "actual size". I printed one of each and the "fit to page" is actually the smaller of the two, so I printed those to use.

LuckyDucky,
Let me know if my Ruger Mk II Target is ok for the Stock Rimfire category. If not I'll change it to open. Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File I used an old Ruger Mk II Target with bulk Federal 36 grn ammo. All strings were fired two-handed. No modifications to the gun. Final results: Stock Rimfire - springermania - Ruger Mk II Target - .22 LR - two hand - group 1 (3.836") - group 2 (4.578") - group 3 (2.982") |

So, can we put an aiming point / sticker in the center of the target if it's just the grid squares?
BTW OP, Add one more division, the Comedy division, I aim to shoot a set this weekend. |

I'm surprised nobody is over 25 moa yet. Maybe doing 5-shot groups instead of 10-shot groups makes it a lot easier.

@LuckyDucky,
Obviously I shot Open Rimfire with my Mark III due to the red dot. The only parts not stock on the pistol are the rail and dot. If I pull the dot (but leave the rail) can I shoot it Stock Rimfire? |

Here's my entry. Pistol is a VP9 tactical with no modifications. I was shooting Winchester white box using a two hand grip. I'll probably give this another try, as I had difficulty getting a good sight picture with the tape.

Quoted: I went out and did this today, but misread the instructions. I kept shooting left and sending rounds off the 8.5x11. Groups were... tolerable... but I was under the impression that all rounds needed to be on the sheet of paper for the run to count. As a result I didn't measure or record scores. I'll try again next time. View Quote @Gwelo @HammerHammer @hankforker @hersh46 |

OK, I'm shameless/honest enough to post my awful WAY over 25 MOA groups.
Warning: don't scroll down while drinking, swallow first. Attached File Shot at 25 yds. as verified with my range finder. Attached File Attached File Attached File Pistol is a stainless Para Ordinance 14.45 Nite-Tac LDA that is stock other than the aftermarket grip. Yes, I regret buying the LDA but I was young and dumb when I did it. Attached File My calipers doesn't go out to 17.5" so you'll have to settle for range buddy pics. I did print the targets at actual size, but I'm pretty sure no one is going to quibble over the numbers or the fact that some of the shots are at a slight angle due to the cardboard being a bit bent. I took a picture after each group of five and can post those if there's any concern that any one shot belongs to a different target. Everyone on ARF should be able to post better numbers, so now you don't have the excuse of not wanting to be the worst pistol shot here. @LuckyDucky, is a pistol with a weaponlight considered stock or open? This is assuming the pistol would qualify for stock aside from the light.
