Pfffft...
All the Marines that I know that went to Thailand tell stories about the Bull Headed Clap. |

At the risk of offending someone again, I believe they have earned the right to drink the blood of whatever
reptile they want. I dare anyone of you to talk shit to their face. |
|
I don't see the point, supposed to make them feel tough or something? They're probably all POGs anyway.

Good way to contract some strange tropical parasite...........
Cool! |

Quoted: I bet I could think up some more, um, interesting things for Marines to do to prove they are fearless. Always be careful about daring a Marine to do anything though. Especially indoors, as they aren't particularly good pets. RTM JEST during Cobra Gold Royal Thai Marine Chief Petty Officer 1st Class Pairoj Prasansai, Recon Battalion, Marine Division feeds cobra blood, which can be a useful source of energy, to Sgt. Jerry Clark, squad leader, 1st Squad, 1st Platoon, Company A, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment during a jungle survival course in Ban Chan Krem, Chanthaburi province, Kingdom of Thailand, Feb. 17, 2013. |

Generally speaking eating raw animal flesh is not a healthy thing to do, there are a gigantic shitload of diseases that pass to humans through uncooked meat and blood, either from injestion or into a cut or scratch. This has been known for centuries. Look it up so what's all the hubbub about? I don't think those marines were promoting a cobra blood diet so much as they were promoting being fucking drunk and having nothing to do with themselves |

Seems like I've read of guys (maybe Marcinko) drinking cobra venom in Vietnam. I'd probably do that before drinking the blood. Not me. If you have a gum issue that causes bleeding, recently bit your tongue, ate a potato chip recently that wasn't chewed and scratched on the way down, or have an ulcer that venom has a way into your bloodstream. |

Either the cobra is part of you or it isn't.
Operation Cobra Gold, 1992. |

Last time I was in Vietnam, my uncle took me to this beat up restaurant that served snake. They took me to this pit and had me choose one. Naturally, I picked the biggest fucker they had LOL. They drained the blood and poured me half a shot and filled the other half with moonshine then stuck the BEATING heart in it. Then down the drain! Wish I had taken pictures...
