The Blob, 1980's version.
The Gate. The movies really terrified me as a kid. As an adult, they're both fun. |

Pretty sure I was in my teens when I watched A Serbian Film and 8mm. Most people would consider those disturbing.

View Quote Good one. That was a little known movie that was freaky as hell when I was young. |

“GIGO” Is what I told my kids in the 90s - 2000s.
Garbage in, garbage out. Careful what you subject your brain to….. I quit that crap after The Exorcist. I still hate the Tubular Bells soundtrack. |
|
Fire in the sky? <Edit. Fuck that scene. |

Jaws. I lived 10 miles from ocean.
The Day after The worst was a movie I saw in church, where in the future Christian’s had to decide between the mark of the beast or a guillotine. I don’t remember the name though. |

Fire in the sky Event horizon is lame af. I don’t know why people think it’s scary |

Watership down
Jaws This weird Aussie psychological horror film where a schoolbus breaks down and the teacher is trying to keep the kids alive while some gang is trying to kill them. |

View Quote You and I must be about the same age, haven’t seen that movie in ages and immediately recognized the scene and the feelings it gave. |

Threads is indeed not a fun watch. It was especially not fun back during the Cold War.

My dad’s 8mm circa 1950’s burlesque film when I was about 9 yrs old.

My mother took me to see the Exorcist at the drive in when I was 11 , what was she thinking. ,it haunts me still to this day 40 years later
Jaws also scared the bejesus out of me . I don’t think I went swimming for 3 years after that movie. Even in a pool |

Exorcist by a mile. Watched it with my older brother when I was 5, maybe 6years old. Completely mindfucked me. I watched Faces of Death and a lot of horror movies as a youngin, but nothing had the effect of The Exorcist.
