I think the Nazi zombie movie "Shock Waves" was the most disturbing movie I watched as a kid.

I saw Towering Inferno in a movie theater in Manila when it first came out. The theater had shiny ceramic tile up about 8 ft on the walls reflected the flames from the movie screen and they injected smoke into the theater for realism. There is no way they could do that in the United States.

I saw it in Stavanger, Norway and if they would have done the smoke thing,  I'd probably still be having nightmares.
