Why is it that 99% of videos I see like this, the rider is always on a crotch-rocket?

I had a friend that I lived with blow through a yield sign on his Ninja at 60+mph. T-boned a car. DRT.

In before resident squids still somehow find a way to blame cagers for this.

I take issue with the term accident here, and in many other cases.
This was not an accident, it was a consequence of driving like a moron. |

Everytime I see a squid cutting lanes at a high rate of speed or other stupidity I take solice in knowing that videos like this exist.

I watched a Jeep Liberty T-bone a class A RV on Friday.
Same results for the driver of the liberty. |
|
But if the stupid cager had been watching for motorcycles everyone would have been fine and made it home.

My daughter worked on call with the organ transplant team at Mayo in Jacksonville.
they refer to them as donor-cycles. |

What is it dude in the white truck hiding? He did U-turn right up over that sidewalk and out of there.

I used to know a guy who did the same thing. Basically folded the old school station wagon in half at the middle when he hit it. And he lived! He said he thought he was dead but when he opened his eyes he was flying through the air next to the telephone wires…

Quoted: What is it dude in the white truck hiding? He did U-turn right up over that sidewalk and out of there. View Quote Common thing. I once watched a 7 car collision from an overpass on the interstate and by the time I managed to get down the access ramp only two were left. I bet they would have left too if there had been an engine still in the cars. |

Where was his Road Captian? Poor guy was prolly feeling lost and scared and was looking for guidance.

The real question is, will he have a police escort for his funeral procession.

Most times when I've heard of people getting into minor motorcycle wrecks, it's usually some motorist's fault.
When I've heard of people being killed in motorcycle wrecks, it's usually because they were doing something stupid. |

Watching on my phone, maybe the biker didn't see the light?????

Lived in the Tampa area for awhile and it seemed like this was a weekly occurrence.. sometimes it was the riders fault doing dumb shit.. a lot of times distracted drivers. Worst I saw was a rider hit the back of a box truck with such force his helmet stuck in the truck and held him up there..

I feel sorry for the driver of the blue car. Hopefully the red light runner had good insurance.

He was really moving. Tried to get a better look at the whole thing buy stopping the video right at the point the motorcyclist enters from the right then advancing as slow as possible. He crosses what has to be several hundred feet in less than a second. He couldn't have stopped if he wanted to and had a quarter mile of clear road. I dont think he had time to realize he was dead till he was 30 feet in the air.

Quoted: Watching on my phone, maybe the biker didn't see the light????? View Quote Possibly, but he was still going stupid fast through an intersection. At that speed there is not room for error, in his case he couldn't brake before he slammed into that car. I honestly don't think that guy seen the light, he didn't even brake before the impact. |

I was at ground zero for one of those about 15 years ago. Motorcycle hit the car 1-2 cars ahead of me. I had to sit there for a couple of hours while they cleaned up the mess. I felt really bad for the lady in the car that got hit. She was really shaken up (it was totally not her fault), and had to sit there on the curb looking at the dead guy the whole time (well, I did too, since it was 20’ in front of me, but I’m not the person that got hit). That guy didn’t really fly though. He hit the car and kind of bounced off.

View Quote Most likely wanted to get out of the way for emergency vehicles and get out of there before he gets blocked in by said emergency vehicles. And possibly to go park somewhere nearby, since he was a witness. |

I used to ride. It seems like common sense that speeding through stop light was suicidal. Shit I was worried some ass would blow thorough a their red light and T-bone me.
