Quoted: Canada has a jet fighter? And couldn't pop the balloon? How embarrassing to have to tweet that out.
View Quote Canadian General during conference said the jet with first clear shot took it, happened to be an American. Both Canadian and American jets were present. |

Do we really suck bad enough that there could be another "object" over Montana after three have already been downed in the past week?
What are we going to do to China after this? |

Quoted: I just had 6 fighter jets come over my house. I never hear them fly near me but there are bases within an hour or two. Seems very odd with all the stuff going on. I’m usually not a tinfoil hat wearer but this is definitely odd View Quote @tbw1614 the Swamp Foxes (SCANG) should be inbound from a few weeks at Red Flag in Vegas today or tomorrow. |

From a technical perspective, something doesn't make sense. I am not buying a spy balloon or a nuke test. To be spy they would be needing to transmit large amounts of data. You aren't doing that over HF with the payload of a smallish balloon. Same with a nuke. No control, they are expensive, something easy to detect in the size needed.
Now what if you had a small transceiver that was on a very common frequency range. Cell signal? VHF aircraft frequencies? What if the whole intent was to hit CONUS listening stations. What if some of those were behind certain firewalls? |
|
I would guess the object must be pretty low if the plan is " to ground it ".

Sen. Jon Tester: I am aware of the object in Montana air space and remain in close contact with senior DOD and Administration officials. I am closely monitoring the situation and am receiving regular updates. I will continue to demand answers for the American public.

Quoted: While I’m skeptical if anything these governments say and do, I have no doubt other nations are begging to fuck us up. Now seems like a great time given our current leadership. I have direct knowledge that our defense contractors are ramping up building certain systems the government feels they’re going to need in the near future. On fox they just said it was a cylindrical object and not a balloon

On Fox they said the downed object jammed our communications.

|
Quoted: Cylindrical as in missile, or cylindrical as in tic-tac? View Quote It is a BS statement. The object under the barroon is a cylinder until someone on the ground gets a picture of it and spills the beans. One thing that steers us from the Tic-Tac is these things are slow, like wind speed slow. Therefore barroons. |

I'm thinking they're going to want to visually ID it before they shoot it and that's why they are suspending until morning?

Quoted: Imaged a 1000 balloons with different trajectories coming towards the united states. How many could we detect and stop. Could easily be a weapons delivery system. A couple could have nukes to air burst. View Quote And suddenly *boom* ICBM’s aren’t the only delivery game in town and no longer the sole possession and advantage of first world militaries |

China is probing our air defense & comms. Concerning to say the least.

Shame we don’t have any Sprint missiles in service…….. be funny as hell to send one at Mach 10 to obliterate it
We should start probing Chinese airspace and start making port calls in Taiwan on a regular basis to mess with them |

This would be a good time to have laser technology that would down a barroon.

Well crap. Too bad a pilot out of 419 "Moose" squadron out of Cold Lake didn't get the kill.

What is that shooting out of the object there, you think they may be shooting out some type of chemicals or perhaps even biological weapons of some sort............ we better get our asses together, something is going on..,.and personally, I think they are probing our defenses or possibly even attacking us and we dont even know it yet....via biological weapons of some sort, ......I dont know this is really disturbing and it does get you to thinking ....
