I love the solid colors. The metalic shiny paint has been over-used, so it's nice to have some change. I'm partial to the grey.

View Quote Those new CX-50s are nice. I would have gotten a CX-5 or a CX-50 but I needed 3 rows, so CX-9 it is! Got it in mid-January and it has been enjoyable so far. I'm curious what the CX-90 will look like. Supposed to be an I6, slightly longer than the CX-9 (which is nice, because there isn't as much storage behind the 3rd row in the CX-9 as you'd hope), and rear wheel biased AWD. |

The manufacturers realized things are only going to get worse, and want to provide their buyers with low viz options.

Quoted: That is particularly true right now. People in need of a car will buy what's available instead of holding out for a particular color and/or option package. I was if-y on the color but it didn't take long for it to grown on me. It's the "S" option as well so, nicer 18 inch rims and tires, black accents on the outside as well as the inside. The black accents work well with the "Ceramic Gray".
Not my pics but same look. Attached File Attached File Attached File Would be bad ass if there was a super charger option like some of the other 6 cyl motors. |

When you start counting how many cars are either white, silver, or black, you'll be thankful for any color.

Damn dude! 2nd post in 6 years is in a car paint color thread.
Attached File Quoted: That's actually one of the better Jeep colors nowadays. Way too many gaudy colors and few more appropriate subdued choices. I really likes that metallic OD they had way back with the YJ. The olive they have now is kinda sickly looking. My old TJ is just plain white and tan, works for us. View Quote |

The beige/sand/FDE colors with chrome accents and/or bumpers are the worst.

I worked at a Lexus dealer in the early 2000s. Alabaster looked like the just cleared primer.

I'm digging the fresh change
The last 20 years it's been boring as fuck. When Black is the only option of fucking boring ssd choices. I want to build a Jeep J20 truck in the Toyota TuRD zolive green with matt black trim. Tan interior powered by a 7.3 Godzilla |

The only color that puts me off is "wet sand" - Looks like the turd a really anemic dog would make.

I like the Ford Ranger and Tacoma coyote tan. Toyota's lunar rock is pretty cool too. Subaru had a flat fern green that was neat.

Wonder how many of these flat paint jobs will be involved in getting "T-Boned" cause the other driver never saw them.
Same shit they claim when they hit a bike |

I'm pretty basic, give me primary colors and white or black; I prefer the "pop" colors for accents. Grays are for subdued parts that provide structure that should be ignored or at least not part of the color scheme.

Doesnt bother me. I like the more natural tones. I have always bought vehicles tan/sand/silverish. Much of my life I lived on a dirt road and these colors hide the dirt better. Guess I should change my outlook now that we are all uppity and they paved our road.
