I'm younger(26), and have a lot of friends who lean right, but look as the OP described. I wouldn't underestimate political leaning of the 18-26 age group this day and age. YMMV depending on where you are.

It's the liberal version of the exact same shit people did after Obama won the first time and everyone thought that it was a matter of time before they declared Martial Law, came around door to door and confiscated everything and sent you to a camp.
I remember going to my usual gun club 6 months or so after the Obama win and there being more and more of a certain freedom fighter wannabe element there. Same thing; and it'll wear off into just a lot of talk about 'being ready' by this time next year. |

Regardless of political affiliation, people who dye their hair odd colors, have tattoos, excessive piercings and are severely overweight usually always have some kind of severe underlying mental issues.
They may or may not realize it, but they are naturally signaling that they should be avoided much like the fugu fish or a poison dart frog. I would have started packing up the moment I saw them. Just not worth the risk. |
