Sure, why not? As a side note, I saw an very stout WV at the show last weekend. Fresh off the boat from Europe, and quite a lot heavier boned than Nancy's dogs. He'll be at Westminster this year, so I'll be keeping an eye out for him. I'm interested to see how he compares to the American bred dogs. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

No leads so far today, so we'll see. Wednesday has me nervy as shit, though. Not looking forward to getting my eye cut on, but looking forward to possibly being done with glasses. Time for lunch. Not sure what I'm going to have, though. Dinner will be pork canitas and a green vegetable. Will see what looks good at the grocery store. |

Soooooooo, about that no calls to run today........ I'm getting my back cracked when my phone blows up with calls and dings of emails and texts. Turns out, they scheduled a lead for 9am but never put it on the calendar. The office is claiming "technical errors" with the new girl's email service. Yeah...... So it was about 9:30 when all the shit hit the fan. They're trying to call me, they called our other salesman who lives an hour away and ask him if I can get to the call by 10:00am. EL OH FUCKING EL, how the fuck is he going to make an hour drive in 30 minutes? I ran home, grabbed my shit (since I had no calls I left it all here) and called the office to let them know I was headed that way. H.O. canceled and said she'd reschedule. I highly doubt she's going to call us back. I can no longer connect to the server to back up all my jobs. Waiting for the IT guy to get there to figure out WTF is going on. |

It's interesting you mention that. One of Sherman's kennelmates is a standard Vizsla; while she's about a month younger, she's also MUCH finer-boned than he is. He's 50lbs, so he's on the lower side of the weight range, but just looks a lot more solidly built. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

So glad I got up at 0430 to drive 3.5 hours to the site to sit here for 2 hours twiddling my thumbs.

My mom is pretty banged up. Busted lip, black eye, scrapes and cuts on both hands and a swollen jaw. She knocked about half the tip off one of her front two teeth, the other was shoved up in her jaw until about 1/3 of it was visible. The two ones on the outer edges of the front two were also shoved up a bit. So one tooth had to be rebuilt, one had to be pulled out of her jaw and into place. The other surrounding two had to be pulled down only a small bit and all four anchored into place. She literally face planted into the highway. She almost got ran over, so did the dog. Dog is in lockup and isn't happy about it. We start with a trainer on 3/3 for private lessons. I'm a bit irritated as I'd already told her NOT to let the dog out at all until the leash was attached in the kitchen. Instead, she put them on the porch and tried to leash them. Scarlett got past her and ran out the door and into the highway. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Throw a blanket or a coat over the protective one and wrap him up. Untangle them and get them warm while waiting for AC. View Quote This whole event took a strange turn. The PD showed up pretty quickly. Asked me what I saw when I got there. Turns out there was a burglary in the early hours of Sunday. The burglars destroyed the home and took most everything of value as well as strange items like family pictures. The dogs were in their kennels. The burglars took the dogs and tied them up at the end of the road and left them to die until i found them. That being said the dogs had been outside for over 24 hours. There is a lot more derp that goes with the story that I am omitting due to the investigation. The owner was beyond grateful and was crying when reunited. It was my good deed for the day even if it was just sheer luck. |
