Video of oper8orness here and link to site
The PGOSS shotgun has all the accuracy of full stock, in fact, many PGOSS shooters find it far more accurate than full stock! This is achieved due to the increased control and balance you get from the shotgun being drawn in close to your body! What is a PGOSS shotgun? The CRA Combat Pistol Grip Only Shooting System changes the dynamics of a pistol grip pump action shotgun, how the operator interfaces with the shotgun and how the shotgun is accessorized. The system redirects and distributes recoil allowing the operator to safely bring the shotgun up high enough to aim and use optics, such as a red dot sight. This changes the position of the shotgun in reference to the body, drawing the operator’s head directly above the shotgun receiver instead of behind it. The sights are raised and positioned forward on the barrel so the shotgun is low enough for the shooting position to be comfortable and recoil action is safely below the face. The cheek rest is mounted on top of the receiver to allow a consistent sight reference and proper shooting position. The pistol grip is designed for a comfortable hold in this position and also directs the recoil down, away from the face. The sling gives the operator stability with the shotgun so he can hold it steady on target even past 100 yards and distributes recoil through the body rather than all into the shoulder or hand. LEO model for only $1450 |

Watch the video. It's pretty interesting, and seems to validate the concept.
I'd love to get some trigger time behind one of these. Unfortunately, this thing is not friendly to lefties. |

Seems like the market saturation of the Salad Days has moved us from "best tool for the job" to snake oil hucksterism.

He's reduced the area for recoil absorption to a fraction of what normal shotgun shooting has. And $355 for the cheapest conversion, which consists of adding a rail, a pistol grip, a cheek weld, a crappy 2 point sling and chopping the barrel Quoted:

He does look pretty cool shooting the thing in the video I will give him that.
Still looks stupid though |

Ok, I watched the video.
I will admit something, its worse than I perceived. If this gun is the answer, it was a stupid question. Get a G17/18 or a subgun. |

If it works so well, why aren't all the 3-gun shooters going to that system? Lower magazine capacity isn't the cop out reason it isn't used, as it is fairly obvious that any larger magazine or feeding system could be onto onto it. Simply put, it doesn't give as much recoil control. The mass of your body absorbs recoil much better than just your hand/arm held at an odd angle. Physics....it isn't just a good idea, it is the law.

Well that was interesting to say the least. I would love to see him run those drills with some 00 buck instead of bird loads.
