It wouldn't matter if DW invited the grieving family over for thanksgiving, bought them a crate of Kools, or if he got their EBT cards filled twice a month to apologize. They are out for the blood of a man who did his job. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

FOX reports that DW said he had a "clean conscience" about the shooting. Seems like both he and GZ could use a lesson in tact and good sense. Both should quietly retire to some tropical non-extradition country, but seem a bit too eager to be in the limelight. I think after being demonized for the last 3 months, DW was chomping at the bit to tell the world his side of the story. I think most people can understand that. I can understand it, I just don't think it's very bright. The media is chomping at the bit to demonize him further. Any inartful comment will be used to fuel the cries for a federal civil rights case against him. It wouldn't matter if DW invited the grieving family over for thanksgiving, bought them a crate of Kools, or if he got their EBT cards filled twice a month to apologize. They are out for the blood of a man who did his job. I agree, which is why he ought to STFU and move out of state, not give media interviews. His life, his choices, I just see this one as foolish. |

I still say its not coming. Didn't come against Zimmerman, and won't come here. By the time the Feds are done with their investigation, it will be REAL close to the 2016 election. By then, people will have forgotten about this thing. Tearing this wound open again is undesirable...because on every level from Ferguson to the state of Missouri, it was DEMOCRATS who screwed things up, and everyone knows it. Obama might want the fire, but national Democrats are probably ready for it to be over. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I wouldn't call my post a "comparison", but there are certainly some similarities there (both men were drug through a very high-profile legal process after shooting an "unarmed black youth" who was in the process of attacking him). Both were good shoots. Obviously there are some differences, but you don't see those same similarities? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

This Bears Repeating.... We are watching the Hammer and Sickle fall on the Cloward Piven Plan, right now, before our very eyes, by the community communist agitator in chief... http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/printgroupProfile.asp?grpid=7522 View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
We are watching the Hammer and Sickle fall on the Cloward Piven Plan, right now, before our very eyes, by the community communist agitator in chief... http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/printgroupProfile.asp?grpid=7522 Inspired by the August 1965 riots in the black district of Watts in Los Angeles (which erupted after police had used batons to subdue a black man suspected of drunk driving), Cloward and Piven published an article titled "The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty" in the May 2, 1966 issue of The Nation. Following its publication, The Nation sold an unprecedented 30,000 reprints. Activists were abuzz over the so-called "crisis strategy" or "Cloward-Piven Strategy," as it came to be called. Many were eager to put it into effect.....
.....Their article called for "cadres of aggressive organizers" to use "demonstrations to create a climate of militancy." Intimidated by threats of black violence, politicians would appeal to the federal government for help. Carefully orchestrated media campaigns, carried out by friendly, leftwing journalists, would float the idea of "a federal program of income redistribution," in the form of a guaranteed living income for all -- working and non-working people alike. Local officials would clutch at this idea like drowning men to a lifeline. They would apply pressure on Washington to implement it. With every major city erupting into chaos, Washington would have to act...... lol Not here. They'd better get a different plan. |
