View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: "It don't hurt anymore" is no longer in my vocabulary. Just wait until you're my age... Truth I had a car ready to go home this afternoon and wanted to double check the lug nut torque before I let it go. I think I stood there for probably five minutes looking at the wheel before finally deciding to kneel down and check the lug nuts because I knew how damn hard it was gonna be to get back up when I was finished. Over the last 2 months, I got blood pressure medicine that worked. Me standing up is now double-jeopardy. Dude, I don't even want to discuss blood pressure meds. The doc in a box prescribed me 10mg of some shit and told me to monitor my BP for 2 months. If the numbers I was recording are accurate, I should be dead several times over. They seemed indifferent about it. Get your home b.p. cuffs checked against doctors office manual b.p. reading numbers. Ask me how I know. I quickly came to that conclusion. One dies and I ordered another one from Amazom. Second one was 10-15 points higher than the previous one. Chinese garbage.... |

Quoted: I have a car at the shop right now that belongs to a trauma surgeon. He's the local SWAT team doc and a damn good guy. I told his wife the other day to tell him that there would be no charge if he brought a blood pressure cuff and a prescription pad when he comes to get his car. Is Solo Stove made in USA?
Off to google ... The Solo Stove itself is not made in the USA. All stoves and fire pits are manufactured in China, Vietnam, or India. The company does offer several products that are US made, though it is a minimal selection. Breo is made in USA! |

Quoted: Quoted: But is it, really? Looking back on all the stupid shit we did as kids, I have come to the conclusion that we weren't really that lucky so much as we just weren't the snowflakes we have today. IK distinctly remember one specific instance where a buddy of mine and I were going down the parkway in his mom's Buick when we saw a friend's father driving down the same road. My buddy Mark decided that he needed to moon said friend's father, so he set the cruise control for about 10 mph faster than we were going, stood up in the driver seat while I steered from the passenger seat and he proceeded to drop his drawers and hang his bare ass out the driver window while laying on the horn while we drove past good ol' Otis. We didn't die and ended up with a great story for out grandchildren! Well, I'd like to think my amazing passenger seat driving skills had a little to do with it but yeah, it's a well known fact the the Good Lord looks out for those of us who are too damn dumb to look out for ourselves. We sure had a blast though... |
