I saw a guy telling a friend on SM about how capitalism is a greedy system. I asked him if he believed nobody was greedy in a socialist system. He wouldn't reply and when I pushed him he lashed out, and said he wasn't talking to me. Nevertheless I pressed him, and told him that I personally know people from Cuba, Vietnam, and Romania who all came to this country and are very successful, and after reading his words would be left scratching their heads as the memories of socialism and government control revealed the true state of the people who must suffer under it. His main talking points were that there should be free healthcare and education. I told him to move to Cuba, as they have free healthcare. I also said that he would live a meager life and barely have enough to eat, but that he could rest easy knowing the Castros have Serrano Hams flown in from Spain regularly. He reply was "fine, they have great cigars, too!"
I was left scratching my head. But the best way to argue against these people is to key on certain words and phrases and then use them against them. The rich get richer in Cuba, too. And in Venezuela. The ruling elite are the only ones with a chance in those places. In America, everyone gets a fair shake at attempting to better themselves. In the end, it all boils down to them being just as selfish as anyone else, except they want to take from others the very bread the others bought with their money, earned by the sweat of their brow. Leftists are coveting, lazy people. |

Walmart makes more money, builds more stores, pays the executives more money, hires more workers, and factories do the same. It's a cycle. Everyone benefits.
