Last night the Mets are up 4-2 in the top of the 9th beg the grounds crew to take the tarp off. The crew says ok and the Cards tie the game...tarp goes back on the the game is resuming today.

The Mets Say get this tarp off the field and let us win this thing, a breakdown

I'm not even mad. We need another high draft slot for next year. We're going to have a losing season, so the worse it is, the better it is, and I want to pass Kansas City. I don't want them picking ahead of us again.

Things have changed, even more recently. The Cubs and Astros both built World Championship teams by drafting well and then adding to their core. You have to draft well to build a winner.

Holy God the Astros are crushing the Jays.

Also, ump at the Brewers/ Giants game called a blocked 3rd strike a foul(hint: the ball bounced off the plate and was no where near a foul). It was so bad that Arcia was halfway to 1st before the ump called him back saying it was foul.

Of course, arcia walked and ended up scoring on a passed ball.

Rockies relievers gave up 6 in the 9th to tie, then gave up 5 in the 12th to win.
It's not bad when someone in the bullpen has a bad day, until everyone in the bullpen has a bad day.
