He was later asked if the doctors had figured out the cause of the condition. They had not, and Jackson has apparently tried remedies from the cliche to the exotic: "Hell no. I have done everything: scare me, hang upside down, drink water, smell the ass of a porcupine. It doesn't work."

Jets vs Dolphins Black Friday game on Amazon
View Quote
This game is scheduled for 3pm ET. The odd (for the NFL) start time is due to the Sports Broadcasting Act of 1961 which protects both college and high school football on Friday nights thru mid-December.

IE it is basically federal law that NFL games cannot be broadcast on Friday nights or Saturdays until mid-December.

Members of the NFL's finance committee raised concerns Wednesday about Josh Harris's tentative $6.05 billion deal to purchase the Washington Commanders from Daniel Snyder, slowing momentum for the approval of the potential sale and dimming the prospects of a possible ratification vote of the league's team owners later this month.

The 2023 NFL schedule won't be released until 8 p.m. ET Thursday, but Packers fans aren't going to have to wait that long because it appears Green Bay's entire schedule has already leaked out.

There are always some schedule leaks before the official release, but rarely do you see a team's entire schedule leak out, which is what we have here.

Here's a look at the Packers' schedule (via the Athletic):

Week 4 (Thursday, Sept. 28): Lions at Packers, 8:15 p.m. ET (Amazon)
Week 5 (Monday, Oct 9): Packers at Raiders, 8:15 p.m. ET (ESPN)
Week 6: BYE
Week 7 (Oct. 22): Packers at Broncos, 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS)
Week 8 (Oct. 29): Vikings at Packers, 1 p.m. ET (Fox)
Week 9 (Nov. 5): Rams at Packers, 1 p.m. ET (Fox)
Week 10 (Nov. 12): Packers at Steelers, 1 p.m. ET (CBS)
Week 11 (Nov. 19): Chargers at Packers, 1 p.m. ET (Fox)
Week 12 (Thanksgiving): Packers at Lions, 12:30 p.m. ET (Fox)
Week 13 (Dec. 3): Chiefs at Packers, 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC)
Week 14 (Monday, Dec. 11): Packers at Giants, 8:15 p.m ET (ESPN)
Week 15 (Dec. 17): Buccaneers at Packers, 1 p.m. ET (Fox)
Week 16 (Dec. 24): Packers at Panthers, 1 p.m. ET (Fox)

I would put the Bills comfortably at #4, ahead of Ravens & Jets... but it’s just my opinion.

That's our Super Bowl Champion 2023 season opener?

Edit: For out of division games, the Chiefs have the Bills, Bengals, Eagles and Dolphins on the schedule for home games... Any of those 4 would have been a 100x better for the season kick off.

Yeah... in football terms, the match-up could be pretty good. With two hot offenses and two sketchy defenses, there's a good chance the game will be a crowd pleasing shootout.

The downside is that there's no franchise level drama there.

My pick was always the Bengals. It would have been so delicious to see them listening to their own Burrowhead sound bites before watching the highlights and banner and ring ceremonies.

A year or two ago I definitely would’ve agreed with you, but in 2023 I’m okay with it.

The Lions with a chance right out of the gate to show they aren’t the same old Detroit Lions.

USA TODAY received an audio recording of Matt Araiza's accuser speaking with a prosecutor and then they interviewed Matt Araiza. Araiza has reportedly sent the recording to 20 NFL teams in an attempt to clear his name and get a job.

The audio recording mentions a review of 9 video clips of the woman being raped, none of which showed Araiza.

In an interview with USA TODAY, the woman said that the video clips show only a fraction of what happened that night. She said the videos add up to around 30 seconds out of a sequence that lasted more than 90 minutes. "I just don't think that's fair at all to look at these short clips that were already way into this assault already happening and make a judgment on that."

Araiza admitted to having sex with the woman that night during a call with the woman that was recorded by police a few days after the party.

"We had a brief encounter, and it is absolutely not how it's been portrayed in the media or the lawsuit," Araiza said in his interview with USA TODAY Sports. Both Araiza and two other SDSU football players have admitted to having sex with the woman that night. They all claim it was consensual and deny any wrongdoing. Araiza admitted, and witness statements seem to confirm, he had sex with the woman outdoors, on the side of the house where the party was located.

The woman reiterated, "He should face accountability for what he did and what he admitted to doing. It was wrong. I was 17 and I was drunk, regardless of whether the District Attorney was able to prove. It was wrong."

As I said earlier this week, regardless of whether Araiza participated in a gang rape or not. He has admitted to having sex with a drunk minor, while knowing he had an STD... I don't think these reports make him look as good as he thinks it does.

Getting another shot in the NFL, as a PR nightmare unknown/untested punter, while admitting to having sex with a minor? Good luck homey.

As loaded as they are right now, imagine how loaded the 49ers would be if they hadn’t pissed away THREE first round picks to draft Trey Lance and simply had an average-ish game manager QB.

Hell, their 2021 first round pick they traded away was used to draft Micah Parsons.

There's still time for a plot twist, but as it stands right now, Trey Lance is looking like one of the very worst draft picks ever.

According to ESPN, FOX has "blessed" the arrangement and have no issue with Brady being a commentator while also being a limited ownership member of the Raiders. Sources said that league policy about team ownership overlapping with media employment comes into play only if the owner holds a position of authority at the media company and could impact broadcast rights negotiations.

The NFL ended up going with Jets vs Dolphins for the Black Friday game, but NFL VP Mike North revealed that the Bengals approached the league and volunteered not only to host the 2023 Black Friday game but to make it an annual tradition for the Bengals.

I guess they wanted in on that sweet Thanksgiving week tradition spotlight.

Edit: Mike North said that Amazon approached the league directly and said since the New York market is the largest retail market in the nation, an Amazon Black Friday New York game would be the best way to introduce the Black Friday concept. They also said divisional games just felt right for Thanksgiving week. They also considered Giants vs Eagles.
