We were supposed to start this job yesterday, working 13 hour days for the next 7 days or so.
Arrival was pushed back to noon. We got there and they showed us where to stage our equipment. Stage??? Why we no rig-up? Nope, just drop the stuff in this area and go park by the gate and wait for further instructions. Sat there for 6 hours before they cut us loose. Told us to be there today... at noon.  I did narrow down our tie-in to a bullet tank that's 30 feet off the ground with no drop lines. Sorry, guys, but you'll have to get us a drop line to the ground for us to tie into. I was told that wouldn't be a problem, but I was also told that they may not even use us during this turn-around. Fine with me. I'll drive out there and sit in my truck for 12 hours a day and do nothing but get paid. Pretty sure that the "in charge" folks are not on site and those who are really don't know what's going on. |
