The best fate for the baby would be for some wild dingos, recently escaped from a zoo, to eat it. "Coral, the dingo ate the baby!". I could get behind that.

Captured wolf will be the mechanism for the group to learn about the wolves, I think they will attempt to let him join after hearing his story and he will betray them. I think the episode was pretty good form and acting, writing and storytelling standpoint just not needed. It killed some of the momentum of the season. I think they are Emmy award hunting with this episode. View Quote I don't see that episode as being Emmy worthy |

When she is eventually killed or dies from colic or croup, she will give Rick a reason to go all Morgan (crazy Morgan, not zen Aikido Morgan) OMG I just realized she IS The Murphy! |

For those that wish we still had "Clear Mode" Morgan;
You need to remember that in Clear Mode he killed everyone and everything. Nobody was on his friend list. This means that an encounter with him by the group would be violent and people would die, including him. This way he has a story still that hopefully ends with him finding a balance that works. |

The problem I see with Gene’s untimely demise is that *nobody else* knows what happened to him - there were no human witnesses to what happened. He’s just not going to show up for dinner when everyone else comes home. You figure Maggie is going to pull out all the stops to go looking for him and that could be a fool’s errand as much as looking for Sophie was in Season 2. With thousands of walkers roaming the countryside between Alexandria and The Dumpster of Doom it’s going to be like looking for a needle in a no man’s land haystack and even if by chance she clears out that alley there’s not going to be much left of him to identify. He didn’t have a backpack on or with him that I could see when him and nick the dick fell into the mosh pit.
So one storyline might be Maggie disappears for a few episodes “looking” for Gene while everyone else deals with the Wolves and the fallout from the attack on Alexandria. Is the actress in real life pregnant - or is/was that Sasha? Might be a good way to have her conveniently out of the picture for a while. Or, as mentioned earlier, he’s bitten but still barely alive and we get a tearful goodbye episode with Maggie before she returns to the group, madder than Carol with an empty magazine and a burned casserole. Maggie could be legitimately pissed off at Rick if she (mistakenly) thinks that Rick’s plan of letting the walkers out of the quarry directly led to Gene’s death. |

So, I wonder if the captured wolf will end up killing Judith, causing Morgan to kill the wolf and get back into the "clear" mode? Then Morgan could take Judith's body back to Rick, giving Morgan the opportunity to hold a baby again. View Quote That is super grim. I could see that maybe happening in the comic, but I doubt it'll happen on TV. Kids rarely get killed- on OR off-screen- on TV shows. Even most movies rarely show dead kids' bodies on-screen. |

I think they're just wrecking Morgan's character so we start hoping he dies - like they did with Tyreese. They don't want a "if Morgan dies we riot" crowd to build up. |

One preview shows Janeway looking over the compound & Michonne apparently telling Maggie that Gene is missing. The other one shows Jessie digging a grave & Aaron apparently trying to talk Maggie out of heading out alone to look for him. |
