There's no such thing as a cool Honda. At least not in the past 20 years.....

I don’t even need to watch the video to k ow it’s gonna be gay. Cool and Honda are mutually exclusive.

If Honda would replicate part for part a 2001 Civic EX 4 door 5 speed and could sell it for $15,000 I'd buy one tomorrow. In 2001 I bought the same car in a 2 door. For what it was it was an awesome car. I averaged 41mpg. 48mpg on trips from KC to Springfield, MO on the weekends to see my college girlfriend. The 5 speed was like shifting through melted butter. So smooth. 1.7 Vtec had enough power to be exciting if you needed it to be but was stupid reliable. I drove it 100k and passed it onto my brother who put another 100k on it before it was wrecked.
I'd love to find an old lady with one with low miles to pick up as a daily driver. What I'd really like is Honda to reproduce it. I know there are more airbag, emissions, and other BS laws but I hope in the future that car makers do more reproduction vehicles that are exactly the same as the originals. |

Why didn’t they install dual fart cans, a ridiculous wing and 87 stickers (each of which adds 10 hp by the way) from the factory since that’s what going to happen to that piece of shit anyway?

Always liked those. They were a bad ass commuter car. Great for road trips. And reliable as hell. The new version aint to shabby

I'm all about the car life,
but that is no where near hot sauce.. Imho, its actually weak sauce. |

The Original Poster sure seems to post a lot of meaningless nothing. Kinda like he wants lots of attention. Just my opinion.

People were shipping parts in from overseas to fix them because the OEM parts would failing so bad. The transmission was incredible and that car handled like no other at that time. View Quote |

I think a lot of people are missing the point.
Imagine if manufacturers started selling previous generation body styles with modern electronics/engine/brakes, updated interiors, etc.. Driving an EK Civic (this model) is just night and day different than modern Civics and it's the same with most cars. My biggest gripe with new cars is they have a tall body (referred to as a "beltline") and just a tiny glass. Makes you feel like you're riding in a tall bathtub. It used to be the opposite where you had large windows/large greenhouse to see out of but that all changed in the 2000s due to regulations. I understand it's for safety and not styling but I would love to own a car from the past that's small/lots of windows to see out of combined with a modern electronics/interior/engine. |

I do have a 2012 CIVIC though...Really like the car. Having owned several Corollas, prefer the CIVIC. |

Ummm....no.
Maybe I would have thought that 22 years ago when I was driving around in my brand new Integra and playing Gran Turismo on Playstation. |
