I had a Joe Caswell Midtech version which I sold.
Neat design but I was not crazy about it. I wanted to try it out. Karambit lovers will probably fall head over heels for it. I did not like the clip, but understand why it was designed the way it was. Good price while it lasts. |

It's a kind of silly tactical knife. It's probably $ 75 worth of fun but kind of a waste of money.
a clinch pick or hogue Sig auto knife are better knifes |

What does that guy who gets in fights near the sea think about these?

Quoted: I bet karambits rack up 87 kills for every samurai sword kill! I've never owned one but maybe 10-12 years ago all kinds of tactical dudes were wearing karambits on body armor and molle belts View Quote But most of those kills will be self inflicted. A Karambit is not a forgiving knife for those with little knowledge of knife work, and really makes for a poor all purpose. But they look so cool! |

Looks like it would be easy to accidentally deploy the blade into your thigh if you reached carelessly into your pocket.

How long before someone runs a line up their hip when trying to get it out quickly? Never mind that that’s a lot of moving parts to go wrong on what should be a simple blade. |

One thing that I have learned in all my years here is to not take purchasing advice from the pot bellied snow chicken

Handled one in store and was not impressed.... |

When country of origin isn't listed, it almost guarantees it's not the U.S.
Had to go to BladeHQ to find out. Taiwan. |
