Guns have started to transition from hobby to necessity and just a way of life for me. I spend more time trimming down to exactly what I need now that I know basically what I'm doing (after 30 years ).
Primary hobby is RC flying, for close to 30 years. Provides relaxation and social time. Gaming is second, mostly flight, air combat and racing sims. I have two simpits and am considering building a custom 3rd. Getting into golf again soon. I've been playing since I was about 10 but haven't actually played a round in probably 10 or so years. Cars used to be a big part. I'm trying to get back to that as well Quoted: A canyon road and someone to drive with! Just had a blast today driving with a a fellow enthusiast! It was 2 lightweight cars, nothing heavier than 2350lbs and I was the porker by a few hundred pounds. A miata and elise dancing among the canyon curves! B What els is a picture perfect Sunday about to you ? View Quote I had a 92 Miata and almost bought an Elise back in 2013. Still want one, but it's looking unrealistic since the prices have skyrocketed |

I’m pretty big into the Gambler 500 community and events here.
Shitbox cars, minibikes, offroading, and the occasional homemade raft excursion. |
|
Oh, kind of forgot - have taken up riding horses a bit. Someday want to do mounted hog hunts. Which goes to my usual addiction - all prep, little doing.

Surprisingly, I don't find much joy in shooting... For me, all the fun is in the assembly process of putting ARs together.
Outside of that I occasionally enjoy playing the drums, but unfortunately it's falling by the wayside lately. Yep, that's it. I've got nothing else. |
|
Jeez... I don't know... I like movies and tv shows... 70s and 80s movies and music... I'm pretty boring...

Computers.
Radios. Road trips, either 4wd or motorcycle. Skydiving. Still looking for a CHEAP hobby |

Not sure if "fun" is the correct term. But I do enjoy spending time with my dogs.

Knives, mostly Vic SAKs, and my Suburban (and it really shouldn't be ). I don't really do anything else anymore. I've got a shelf full of books purchased over the last year and have only read a few. I really want to start hiking again and go SUV camping. I picked up a little fire pit at Menard's that has been incredibly relaxing. ??
I didn't stock up on ammo during salad days like I wanted so the last few gun purchases have been .22's, a Glock 44 and a Ruger Charger to SBR. That should be fun but I also want a .22 mares leg to SBR. ?? |

Property work. We’re trying to create a desert oasis. Trees are and have been done. Gardens in. Next is a swimming pond, barn and outdoor cantina.
Quads. Boating. Sex. I have a hot wife and 4 kids.at this point we’re just practicing. |

I like to kill stuff…. With firearms.
Shit. I suck at this game. |

Camping, hiking, riding the canyons on my motorcycle.
FPV Drone racing, learning blacksmithing, photography, astronomy. Almost too many hobbies to count. |

Late 1980's keyboards. Roland D-20's and Korg M1's do it fer me.

Seeing my Son and Grandsons. Wildlife/sports photography and video's. Exploring swamps & taking pictures from my kayak, messing with snakes. Hiking, mountain biking, Video games.
I started deer hunting again last season. Hunted all my life until I started taking deer pictures in 2007. Years of taking pictures of deer and whatever from the ground sure makes getting close to wildlife easy while you're hunting. I need to become a member sometime so I can post pictures easier. I go shooting sometimes but not a whole lot anymore. Gets kinda boring by myself, Oldest Grandson is about ready to go though. I might get a 4 wheeler soon so I can explore the deer lease more. Im trying to get some Timber Rattler pictures & videos out there. Could cover more ground on a 4 wheeler. Camera equipment is very heavy. |

Quoted: Oh, kind of forgot - have taken up riding horses a bit. Someday want to do mounted hog hunts. Which goes to my usual addiction - all prep, little doing. View Quote You should absolutely pursue shooting critters with a suppressed lever rifle on horseback and I insist you bring us on your journey! I'm barely one out of three- have lever guns, have no cans, haven't ridden in decades. Quoted: Computers. Radios. Road trips, either 4wd or motorcycle. Skydiving. Still looking for a CHEAP hobby View Quote Old Hickory knives are cheap and cheap to mod. To my understanding the bigger (10" and bigger) models are a thicker stock if you're one of those guys. |

Doing random shit with my kids.
Cooking, especially baking, double especially sourdough. Pocket knives. |
|
Home theater
Driving Backpacking International travel Are my hobbies outside of guns. |
|
|
Being able to drive mountain curves without being tailgated by reckless drivers or not having oncoming reckless drivers crossing the lines and into my lane of opposite traffic because they driving faster than the driving conditions allow.
That's what I would like to do for fun, and have a relaxed stress free drive. |

Enjoy spending months building a single R/C plane. Fying them makes me nervous and is just mainly to know "Ok, it flys well!! What to build next?" .

Anything unrelated to my electrical career. |

Traveling is my fav thing to do, but hate to fly anymore so it’s kinda moved to the back burner for awhile. Me and the gf like to trail ride the UTV, I like going to flea markets and such as well. Several other hobbies fill our time too but not much time right now for them

Quoted: Any time spent in the woods is a good time to me. Bonus points if I don’t have to hear any human noises like engines. View Quote Me too, oddly that is what Ted Kaczynski wanted too but the constant planes overhead and the distant sound of men on dirt bikes was partly what drove him to resume bombing people. |

Quoted: Computers. Radios. Road trips, either 4wd or motorcycle. Skydiving. Still looking for a CHEAP hobby View Quote Skydiving sure is a blast, love it if-when I ever have time. Hiking, whitewater {raft or kayak}, we are trying to travel a lot more with our son and DIL, Working on stuff with son, damn he picks things up quick. |

Sitting in a tree stand on a frosty November morning with my crossbow. I like watching the wildlife while I hope for a monster buck to give me a shot. I've seen my share of them over the years, but they've either been too far away or they don't give me a shot by stopping. I usually end up taking a nice 10-12 point and filling the freezer with does.

Music, old school stereos, telescopes (and a dark sky to put them under), anything RC, On and on etc. Pretty much anything but work. Not a huge fan of crowds though.

I’m in the middle of a divorce and working seven days a week.
So sleep I guess. I don’t have much free time these days. |

I've been heavily into almost every type of two wheels fun imaginable. Road bikes, mtn bikes, BMX, sport bikes, MX, Enduro, cruisers, dual sports, café, and probably more. The only thing I never got a chance to even dabble in was trials. I'm moving on now though.
