All you really need to import is the magazines. The rest can be made here.

View Quote Those things lacking in quality. I'd take the Slavshit PP-19... I suspect it's better built. Also, the magazine-under design is more practical. |

Is it awesome? Yes
Would I buy it? probably not. It's a cool gun, but if I had to pick one smg that isn't currently being sold to civvies it be the MP7 |
|
A while back I remember reading an article stating that Izhmash wanted to make a civi-legal 9mm Bizon and AK-107 copy to export to the US under their SAIGA nomenclature. That was about a month or 2 before Newtown though...

View Quote Looks like some sorta ray-gun from a SciFi movie. So, naturally, I want one. |

depends on if it was a class III, and how much the mags cost. with a pistol extenion and a arm brace it might make a fun gun.

A small garbage can, is where that belongs. And you can almost guarantee the 9x18 version would cycle flawlessly with bits of toilet paper tube crammed into it. |

Now the vityaz...I would take that. Assuming mags were available and cheap. Maybe converted to mp5 mags or something like that. |

Can you even get one of those in MD since they goatfucked MD with the new laws? 1) Law doesn't go into effect until 1Oct. Since nobody has been "harmed" by the law yet (since it's not in effect), it can't be challenged in court. Yet. At least 4 different lawsuits are ready to go at 0800 1Oct, 2013. Probably more. 2) It bans guns by specific make and model. Sig rifles are not on the list. Guns not on the market at the time the bill was drafted (e.g. Tavor) are not on the list. Moreover, the law makes exemptions for specific makes and models which is an unconstitutional case of unfair favoritism. For example, the law bans all AR15s, but then makes an exception for "Colt HBAR." That is to say, only Colt can sell AR15s, and only so long as they call the rifle the "HBAR" model. There are no stated dimensions or required specs in the law, only that it be a) a Colt product and b) called the HBAR. Colt does not currently make an HBAR model. Which means that that company, and that company alone, could make whatever they want, call it the HBAR, and sell it in MD. They would have protection from competition by law, and could set whatever price they wanted, since they'd be the only game in town for the state's ~1.3 million gun owners. Basically, it would be as if the state passed a law which said, "You cannot buy new pickup truck, except for the Ford F100." Ford doesn't currently make an F100, but do you think they might love the opportunity to be the only game in town, protected by law? You're damn right they'd do it! 3) The law does say that semiautomatic centerfire rifles can't be sold at a length less than 29" long. So the MPX would need its stock fixed in the extended position (hopefully by some method which is reversible), but you could still sell it. |

Those things were awesome in Syphon Filter
I'd buy a full-auto one, just so to cut down small trees and such. |

No. How on earth are you going to c clamp the rifle to drive it dynamically while you run it with that magazine?
