Hopefully someone makes a HK-style telescoping stock for this bad boy, that'd be tight.

Didn't they stop making those? View Quote I think people were starting to use them improperly (like on a 12ga with stock adapter) and Nordic didn't want to be responsible. They were intended for .22's. This one is from the first run. It lives on my .45 now. Attached File |

I am torn.
I'm definitely going to get one of these... but I don't have in .300 guns. Don't really want any .300 guns. But I want the 7.5 inch barrel. Not 10.5 7.5 is plenty long for 5.56. |

Quoted: From the closeup I saw of the buffer tube and lower area it seemed like a pic rail adapter of some kind was being used for their factory gun. The reason for doing that versus a proprietary lower would be that tons of people already own AR-15 lowers and it cuts down development costs. If they do it all custom you're basically back to a SCAR/ACR/XCR/etc. With maybe a slight edge in price because it's PSA versus those companies. View Quote |

I have one and love it. I'm just really sad it didn't get more traction and didn't reach its full potential (hence my disappointment). People also like to complain about its weight and how it weighs more than a comparable AR-15 (although I never have). View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

This thing is shaping up to be what the. ACR should have been. I'm both happy and disappointed. My dick has been perpetually hard thinking about this gun. Don't fuck it up PSA! It didnt get traction because it gold sold to Remington who drastically increased the price while drastically decreasing features. It was a dud by the time it shipped. |

While I'm slightly annoyed I bought a CZ Bren, I'm thrilled I didn't grab a Brownells BRN upper.
If this upper is anywhere near 6 bills, I'll get one Maybe one of each caliber |

I’ve got a lower that’s already stamped that I’ve love to put this on with a non AR looking folder. I’ve been wondering if this design would be likely to work with a Fostech or Franklin armory binary trigger, any speculation on that?

I'd love to know how PSA got it to run reliably. I'd bet a cup of coffee the key is the fact that it is bufferless. I can tell you that Superlative Arms and Primary Weapon Systems have both been unable to produce a system this short and have it run reliably. With both of the aforementioned companies they were running buffers. So we know it can be done short, even shorter (see the Sig Rattler at 5.5") but when it is it is a bufferless design. Fine by me, less weight and one more thing not to go wrong in the field!
ETA: Having said that it is proprietary so you need to have spare parts on hand from PSA as you are not going to be able to go into a Cabela's or your LGS and pick up spare parts for you JAKL. |

View Quote PSA has had 7.5" .300 BO in a regular AR buffer design for a long time. I'm assuming they run with no problems. Just don't put the gas block at almost the very end of the barrel, like they did on my 14.7" pinned and welded . Still haven't taken the time to sort that out. |
