Even comes with the little vent. You're welcome.

For those who've never heard of these, they've been out there for a long time and are proven.
I've used them for years with no complaints. |

I actually like the CARB compliant can (with push button spout) for filling mix gas tools.
But it's bullshit for anything bigger. Kharn |

I have some of these.

View Quote These nozzles are the best. Their cans suck and split at the seams within a year. (If they ride around in the back of the truck and get used daily) |

View Quote I bought one of these as my VP racing can had a little “incident”. This is the first of the cheaper gas cans I e ever had that doesn’t make me rage. Works damn good. |

Eagle or Justrite cans for me. I don't bother with anything else.

No thanks OP. I'll continue to use my OG military ones with the donkey dick.

I still have old Blitz cans. Never liked any of the metal ones.

For the vent, you need a very specific drill bit or they will leak. I believe it is 31/64" or something similar. I have a few and some vents I can sell if anyone needs them.

My 10 year old grandson 3-D printed a bunch of the yellow spout caps for the old style plastic containers with a program he found online. Work great but their purple.

How do people not know about VP style fuel cans?
They even beat the nato cans. |

I would rather take $17 and use it towards a real can.

They had rigid nozzles before and it really $$ucked when one snapped off and fell down into my kubota fuel tank. |

View Quote I use Rural King brand of these mostly. I do have an EPA can with the lever on the nozzle that actually works fairly well for filling my mower, but nothing else. I also have several of the old round metal cans with rubber spouts that I use for ethanol free and two stroke gas. |

I bought those exact kits for my dad’s plastic cans. They’ve held up for years now. I personally just use Eagle brand metal cans.

For personal use... I leave the $15 plastic ones in the bed. I'd be more pissed about the gas if someone needed it more than me. Those safety cans are the shizzy for home storage though. Stacking isn't an issue when you pick up a used flammable cabinet for $100. |

A smaller No Spill brand can is awesome for filling small engines. A 5-gallon one can be a little unwieldy, depending on what you’re filling, or if you have strength issues.
For vehicles and the boat, I use 5-gallon VP Racing cans. |

Quoted: Every NATO can I have still spills a bit at first. I grabbed a 1-gallon plastic can to use solely with my saw. Surprisingly, the new plastic can doesn't spill anything, no drips, leaks, etc. View Quote That is a very common complaint I hear about NATO cans. Don’t know if it’s knockoff Chinese cans, or if it’s an inherent design flaw. But that’s a no-go for me. Any spillage not caused by my own screwup is not acceptable. |
