I have plenty of paint laying around if needed someday.

Until then I'll leave my rifles naked and black.

I painted my last M-4 build with that mil spec camo stuff you find in Army surplus stores. I ended up selling it, but a condition of sale was that I restore the finish to its original Anodized black condition. After sweating over it, I ended up getting great advice here. The cheap ass Wally World generic brake cleaner removed the paint with ease! I had it looking like new in less than an hour. That is paint was removed from every nook and cranny.

Since that lesson, I am all for painting!

Its a win win..

It would be silly NOT to paint the suppressor to match.

How does it look after shooting it a bunch?  Mine darkened up pretty quick, but kinda leveled out.  It's had a few thousand through it with the paint.

Don't know. Fired only 10 rounds though it since the paint was applied.
