I trump all of your nice car/old car debates with one word.....CANADIANS. I invite any of you to make the trip to upstate New York and sample some of the stupidity I see on a daily basis. New car, old car, doesn't matter. Astro vans towing 30 foot campers. F150s with 5th wheel hitches pulling small houses. Drivers that have miles of empty road but have to pull back in the right lane about 3 feet after passing you. And this is the tip of the iceberg.

Some of the best drivers around here are the older guys with either older model or straight up shit box pickup trucks. A good number have stick shifts.
Some of the worst are the 9 to 5 rush hour types with newer cars. Certain areas of the city have some absolutely terrible drivers. I could go on, but I would probably end up with a time out. |

GD has conditioned me to not care anymore. Depending on what I am driving at the time, I am likely either bigger or faster. I use this edge judiciusly. Unfortunately the price paid for safe driving is typically complete disregard for traffic laws, but I would rather cross a double white and get a ticket than let Dumbfuck McPeckerhead drift lazily across 3 lanes with the wrong blinker on and going 15mph slower than the flow of traffic, and disrupt me.
