Kenner Millenium Falcon. I always liked Han Solo, that motherfucker had style.

Since I turned 16 in 1980, I have to say pussy was my favorite toy back then followed by my 69 Camaro and HS football.

Favorite?
A new bag of army men ETA: Looked at the date (Early 80's). I was pretty much into squirrel hunting, rabbit hunting and the fairer sex by that time |

I'm reminded of the big Rambo knives with the compass and fishing hooks.

Well played, young padawan. Me? Gi Joe He-Man Colt Gold Cup S&W Model 29 Henry Golden Boy Pistol Crossbow My teen years were filled with carving trails through our acreage in the mountains with a machete, shooting, boxing, football, basketball and martial arts. Still played GI Joes and the like with my younger brothers, though. |

Imperial AT-AT. I still have a complete working one in my collection with box and manual. That and a Cobra Ferret. http://i533.photobucket.com/albums/ee338/clracer69/atat-front.jpg http://i533.photobucket.com/albums/ee338/clracer69/cobra_ferret-400-400.jpg I had a pet dog. It was actually an AT AT. I would make it bowls of milk and food, but my mom would make me stop. |

Yep! Talked my younger brother into raiding his piggybank, riding our bikes about 4 miles, and accross a major interstate to buy some fireworks once. We would have TOTALLY gotten away with it, but being the little pussy he is, he "felt bad" and confessed it all I got a spanking, I had to repay the little bastard for the money HE WILLFULLY SPENT, and the fireworks got destroyed He came out of it smelling like f'n roses! Isn't that some shit?! |

I hate these threads about stuff that I never got to enjoy...
Early toys and then the great deals on guns... Missed them both. Damn it. |
|
I was in my 20s in the 80s, so pussy, hunting, pussy, and my hot rod (69 Chevelle) were my playtoys.
HOWEVER.......I'm old enough to have had the ORIGINAL G.I. Joes-and I had a SHITLOAD of them. My two favorites were the deep sea diving sled and the Mercury capsule. |

The Big Trak tank. Loved it. I used to program it to go into my sisters room, blast her with the laser photon gun, do a doughnut and return to me. Good times. http://toegristle.com/collab/bigtrak/images/bigtrak.jpg I had one too! Great fun with the cats and dogs, or your parents when they stayed up late to do parent things, and you can't sleep. |

Wacky wall Walkers! Free in a box of rice crispies. |

Quoted: I was in my 20's, so that would be women, guns, and Alcohol. Amen brother. Damn I'm getting old. |

Those used to be so much fun to read! I picked one up a few months back in the store and it was in color and full of ads...

If you were a child of the 80's post some of your favorite toys. I'll start with a couple of the most memorable for me. M.U.S.C.L.E. Men. I had tons of these guys. They sold them in tubes anywhere you could buy toys. They were cheap and fun to collect all the different designs. Warning: DO NOT do a google image search for "muscle men" http://i37.tinypic.com/2cmtatv.jpg Castle Grayskull, another favorite: http://i33.tinypic.com/2kefkg.jpg LOL omg.....Grayskull!!!! I owned that! |
