Of course they did.
You don’t actually believe we have a 2 party system? |
|
|
|
More like Biden and McCarthy counted the votes and know they can now raise the debt ceiling. Doesn’t matter what the result is on the budget. I bet a bit of horse trading went on with both their Parties. We are just observers, and have no say in the results. The big boys rule, little people are just watchers.

Let me guess, the republicans bent over and took it in the ass.

Who cares. It's Monopoly money at this point. Hell, tack on two more zeroes. Doesn't matter.

Should have 'broken it off' in Biden's dementia-riddled ass, but nooooo, Club Members gotta defend their own.

My bet is the Dems caved on the 2yr extension bit, so the GOP thinks they still have control over this next year, and we will go through this shit again. I know that was a sticking point.
From a FNC article: Biden, who traveled to Camp David late in the week before heading to his Delaware home, told reporters, "It's very close and I'm optimistic." View Quote This is true, the US is never paying this debt off unless the Dollar suffers from massive fricken inflation, at which point the Country is screwed. But, the Fed has raised rates, and the US is paying a shit ton a year to service the debt. I cannot remember if it is 8 or 15%, or somewhere in between, of the budget every year. |

Thanks for the heads up. Had I known I would have put on some makeup. I like looking pretty when I get fucked

There’s no such thing as a debt limit when it concerns the federal government. |

Isn’t it wonderful that so many in GD are condemning the deal before they know what it is? As a matter of fact, we don’t even know there is a deal. Saying they have reached a deal in principle is not the same as having a deal.

Every time they make a huge deal about it. Every time it gets raised. No one wants to take the blame to not raise it. The debt ceiling is a snowball rolling down hill that cant be stopped at this point.

Did anybody think that the Republicans (that we were so glad taking over the House) would do anything other than give into the Democrats and incur more debt?
|
|
So when am I going to need a wheelbarrow full of $20's to buy a loaf of bread?

No, you’re right Charlie Brown, Lucy definitely won’t move the football this time. Get ready and give it a kick. |

Political theater fun.
By fun, I mean breaking it off in taxpayers. |
|
|
I read they agreed to freeze the spending and not spend more. Not better than cutting 1%, but better than raising it 3%.
|
|
Negotiating with Biden in first place was a mistake. Give him a bill to sign or not, and walk away.

A big part of the problem is we don't what it is. |

All the idiot Uke bros can rejoice now as they know their most important subject will continue to get our tax dollars to pay their pensions.

Uni-party for the win. I wonder how much it's going to hurt this time.

If you’re cutting spending, why do you need to raise the debt
