It is almost scary that some of these guys advertise themselves as a "security detail".
What is even more scary is that someone hired them. Also, why does every "security team" have to be decked out in para military gear? Is that a law? You often don't see low-profile security in a suit and tie anymore. Reminds of an incident a few years ago where I went to a movie theater in california. I asked some rambo-security guy which gate I was supposed to be at. He grabbed my ticket and said number 4. I was a bit taken back and asked what was up with all the security. He mentioned it was because, "the other guys didn't do their job!" I was like WTF?! Seriously? I figured, "screw the movie" and asked to speak to the manager. A fat lazy loser who seemed disinterested with me questioning him. I simply asked, "Why don't you hire some low-profile security?" He pretty much shrugged his shoulders. On the way out a crowd of urban yuts began to enter. I guess that explains the tough guy posturing. It was at this point, I figured I should start saving money and leave the US.
