I appear to be carrying on of them but there's a spare magazine in side the pouch.

I have a multi tool story that might make you smile. I was sending packages to a SGT and his merry team in Iraq. It was always the usual goodies until I hit a nice casino win one weekend and wanted to share. I looked at multi tools and the very best one was a Gerber. So, I get a letter from him saying that he got back in after a tough adventure and saw a package from me on his bunk. He opens it and there is the Gerber. He is in disbelief as he had broken his Leatherman building a hide so he very much needed the tool. Regards

I used to carry a Leatherman Micra on my keychain at all times. I used it constantly. It's not a dedicated tool, meant to be more of an in a pinch sort of thing, but I used it many times for a lot of things. I definitely remember putting together an entire grill with that thing. They are also useful in tackle boxes, fishing vests, hunting vests, glove boxes, you name it. I keep my Leatherman Wave by my nightstand, and I use it often for simple tasks when I don't feel like going down to the shop to get a screwdriver.

HAve one in my hunting pack, have used it several times to pull cactus barbs out of my boots and legs.

I have a Gerber multitool of some flavor in my range bag and an original Leatherman in my Go Bag. Both of them have come in handy when something needed a simple fix.

I was in the Bushnell Outlet Friday and they had new Leatherman MUTs for $50. Bought a couple for range bags. I have a Gerber 600 as well. Handy to have when shooting.

Sending a few knives to Kershaw for warranty work. Found these in my Kershaw stash, circa 1998-1999. Carried these everywhere back then, (highschool). Going to send them in to get sharpened and tuned up. Does anyone still carry Multi-Tools on their belts? https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/185965/20181216_153649_jpg-774971.JPG View Quote |

I'll carry a multi-tool when camping, fishing, shooting guns, or working outside the house. That's it though.

I lost the one my Dad gave me so I bought one the first week I was out of Basic Training and had my name etched on it. I just asked Gerber to fix what was broken and they do. Always comes back wicked sharp and in a new sheath. |

I bought one years ago and put it my patrol bag in my popo days. Now, it's just a tool I keep in my car just in case of anything. Doesn't get used much.

I've been carrying the same Leathman for a long, long time now. Very handy tool I've used countless times.

They were great to toss in a tackle box but that's about it. Pretty much useless for actual work work. View Quote My "multitool" for the last 25 years has been one version of the Victorinox Tinker or another. Always in my pocket. It gets used several times a day. They get resharpened so much I usually buy a replacement every few years. I use real tools at work. Plus, SCREW Leatherman. The owner of that company has not met a Leftist politician he wasn't supportive of. I recall he donated to Bubba Clinton, his old lady and Obama. He will never see a dime from me. |

Yeap MP600 in a RAE gear metal holster; really handy, you can manipulate the tool and reholster it with one hand RAE Gear Sheath View Quote |

I have a Leatherman Sideclip that was given to me by my Uncle John before he passed away. I use it frequently and have carried it all around the world.

Quoted: Are you aware those Kershaws have a fairly high collector value? I'm not sure I'd trust USPS or common carrier to get those there and back. View Quote I have half a dozen Gerbers around. I find them very handy. "Wrong tool..." nonsense is like refusing to carry a handgun because it's not a rifle and preferring to go unarmed. |

I have carried one on my belt almost everyday of the last 25 years. My wedding day and the few days I spent flying since 9-11 are the only times I have been without my trusty leatherman. I carry a surge now after carrying an original and then a wave for most of that time.

Carry a Swisstool RS at work.
Carry a Gerber "Clutch" off-duty. I use them every day. |

I've had this Gerber one my whole life (I assume my parents bought it for my older brother before I was born, it was kicking around the household when I was a kid). I don't carry it, but it sits on my desk and occasionally gets used.

I started carrying one overseas and keep one on my battlebelt now. I'm about to add one to my security duty belt as well because they come in so handy.
I've accumulated probably 3-4 of them and I don't remember buying any |

I keep a Leatherman in my truck and one in the get home bag. Nothing on my belt except a Glock 19.

I've had a Leatherman Micro on my key chain for almost 20 years. If Tim Leatherman comes up with something new tomorrow that I want/need, I'll buy the shit out of it! He woke up in fucking America this morning just like I did and he can have any opinion he wants. You shitheads want YOUR freedoms, but you dont want him to have his! View Quote |

I have some gerber multitool I keep on me when I'm hunting but not EDC.
I have a little Gerber keychain tool that is with me all the time. Actually comes in handy quite a bit.

I have a Leatherman Wave in my service call pouch at work. It isn't my go to tool for anything but has saved me enough times to warrant carrying it.
Have a Gerber multi tool in my BOB and another one in my desk. Never carried one around in my pocket but I have carried a small knife most of my adult life. |

I find a lot of use for mine when prospecting for gold. Mainly for pulling out roots and chopping them up with the mini saw on them, it's pretty good and lightweight.

I was issued a Gerber at work. It stays in my tool bag, surrounded by proper tools, so I've never used it.

I carried and used a leatherman MUT just about every single day i was in the Marines. The punch alone on it was useful as fuck. I havent carried or used it in the last 3 years though.

I used a leatherman to take the back of my 1975 oldsmobile apart after I was rear ended on the way to a vacation. Let me enjoy the weekend and deal with the repairs when I got home.
I used to carry a MUT on my belt for 3 gun matches but don't think I ever used it on the clock. Now it lives upstairs so if I need like a screw driver or something easy I don't have to go downstairs and into the garage. now that I have proper tools at home and work in an office I don't super need anything in a pinch. |
