I was suitably impressed with the argument presented by Mr. Dreyfuss.
He emailed Tucker, asking to be on the show. Tucker was quick to say yes. It turned out to be different than what one might think. RD's spiel was to tell America that Civics courses need to be reintroduced into the Middle and High School curriculums once again. It was a great, quick interview. Hopefully we'll have a linkable video sooner rather than later. Interview starts at 0:55 Failed To Load Title |

This is the second time I've seen him on Fox News recently, and this is the second time he didn't come off like a raving leftist lunatic. I'm not exactly sure what is going on with him but neither interview was what I expected from him.

He was on Neil Cavuto very recently. I wasn't impressed.

Actors talking about politics is like monkeys trying to solve quantum mechanics problems.

That was a good piece.
He certainly maintained a very objective view. |

He became a Freemason several years ago. I hope he's learning some things that the fraternity has to teach. One of those things is respect for our founding brothers.

I saw it. I gotta say I didn't disagree with anything he said. He didn't really state a position he pushed for civics to be taught in schools so our constitution and our way of life can be preserved. That is a good idea. It's circling the drain on it's current path, so any idea to teach civics is refreshing.
I don't care if he doesn't agree with me on issues. As long as he doesn't want to infringe on my rights, we can live side by side and not agree on everything. |

Dreyfuss is a liberal, but the handful of times I've seen or heard clips of him discussing politics he struck me as the sort where I could amicably agree to disagree.

Weird. Richard Dreyfus is a screeching liberal from way back.

Hooper surprised me tonight. I actually agree with him.
Now tie me a sheep shank |

He made good points, and Tucker agreed. But, he conveniently side-stepped Tucker's question about why it was OK for Obama to threaten to withhold funds from NC, but unconstitutional for Trump to do it. I kept waiting for him to explain that, and Tucker let him off the hook. Tucker seemed enamored with the guy.

He was absolutely right with everything he said.
Both left and right, almost universally constitutionalism plays second fiddle to personal ideology. |

I had a nice 4 hour chat with RD last year...he's a nice guy and less liberal than he wants to admit.

Well the reason a judge never said it wasn't OK for Obama to threaten it is because Obama didn't actually do it so there was nothing to challenge. (Just based on the conversation... if Obama actually did it, that's a different story). View Quote |

Yeah, he's a constitutionalist he claims..
Wonder what his opinion on the 2A is, bet I can guess pretty close |

He looked high as fuck to me. Eyes were redder than cherry tomatoes. But he mentioned the Constitution so that's cool.

I was kinda impressed actually AND surprised. He didn't actually directly answer Tucker's real question (is it ok for states to defy fed law) but in a way he did and did it quite effectively with very little time and even Tucker seemed taken aback. I mean Tucker is used to slaughtering guests but he really couldn't with Dreyfuss and the points Dreyfuss made resonated well with me.

It seems the concept of teaching basic principles and letting the chips fall where they may has been forsaken and displaced by the need to steer people toward specific outcomes. |
