Give him a listen. I stumbled across him on iTunes. I like his stuff.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eoFwQnHFeYM My favorite song. "Country Roads" is a close second. |

It's alright. I'm not a music snob...I just know what I like. The winding guitar I like. I like the guy's voice too. |

Son that ain't alt country, its Texas country.
Bingham is alright, but there are many others I like better. Jarrod Birmingham kicks ass. Jason Boland is damn hard to beat most of the time. |
|
He comes up in rotation on my Texas Country pandora station, I can dig it.

I'll give them a listen. I showed my wife the video the other day and she goes; "He looks like someone you'd punch in the face" I had to get a big belly laugh out of that. 16 years. She knows me. |

Also, if you're on Waterfox, it did not update automatically like Firefox did. I haven't had the newest version of Waterfox crash since I installed it today. Normally, Youtube kills it. |

He's a damn good singer. I've watched him live a few times in Houston and Corpus.
He's a big lib though... Just like Hayes. |

Bread and water is a good one. |

New album sucks. Pretty much downhill after Mescalito with a sharp drop off after he fired his band and started using studio artists.

Sounds and looks exactly like everything coming out of modern Nashville. Down to the letter.

Quoted: Quoted: Give Turnpike Troubadours a listen if you haven't already. I will. Thank you. The Troubadours rock. So does Jason Boland. I've always seen Bingham as more of a Guthrie wanna-be than a true lib. Either way, his Mescalito is one of the best albums I've ever heard. |
