San Andreas Fault May Be Primed For A Major Earthquake
A new study published March 24 in the journal Science Advances shows that an overlooked strand of the southern San Andreas Fault is more likely to rupture than any other secondary faults in the region. Called the Mission Creek strand, the segment spans the cities of Indio, Desert Hot Springs and San Bernardino. It has gone mostly unnoticed because it is thought to be one of the least active sections of the southern San Andreas Fault. But the new study indicates that the strand is actually the fastest moving fault in the region. *** All eyes are currently on the southern San Andreas Fault because this region hasn’t ruptured in nearly 300 years. Recent data also shows that it has already accumulated enough strain. View Quote Sounds like if you live in California you might want to take an extended vacation out of the State.. |

God's retribution against the wickedness of modern day Sodom & Gomorrah. If you didn't approve of their evil ways, you were the enemy there. I'm glad I'm out of Satan's Den.

If it goes off it's going to cause those rats to flee that sinking ship faster than they already are.

Could this be connected to the marsquake that was recorded a few days ago?

Primed in earthquakese can be any day in the next 1,000 years.

The San Andreas is always primed and ready to go. So are the rest of the major faults on the Pacific Coast.

At least once a year an article like this comes out.
Eventually they will be right. |

The wet dream of every GDer.
They could publish this everyday and twice on Saturday for the next 500 years and nothing might happen. These clowns can't tell me the weather next week but are telling me an earthquake is coming? IIRC we're overdue for the Yellowstone thingie to blow up, that kills basically 125,000,000 Americans? You death to American people ought to like that. |

I have a lot of (right wing, gun owning, self-sufficient) family there. I hope they are spared to run the state after the water recedes.

Southern California is due for a great earthquake. The 1857 Fort Tejon earthquake magnitude 7.9. The same magnitude as the1906 SF quake.
The question is what fault will fail. Lots of candidates. LA will move 20 to 30 feet closer to SF. The thing won't fall off. |

Speaking of earthquakes, did that Iceland volcano thing ever happen? You guys get me all excited and I get nothing but disappointment. I even watched the live feed for a couple minutes waiting...

God, please let this be true. And let our like-minded bothers and sister a way out.

I' be happy if the earth just opened under Pelosi's feet and Feinstein feet and Newsoms feet and Schiffs feet and Swalwell's feet and Boxers feet as she should not be let off the hook.
