I have never heard of this book: The Secret Team - The CIA and Its Allies in Control of The United States and the World
Interesting - when it came out in 1973, all 100k copies were scooped up and removed from the market by private bulk buyers. A second edition was released in 1997. PREFACE TO THE SECOND EDITION Like it or not, we now live in a new age of "One World." This is the age of global companies, of global communications and transport, of global food supply and finance and...just around the corner...global accommodation of political systems. In this sense, there are no home markets, no isolated markets and no markets outside the global network. It is time to face the fact that true national sovereignty no longer exists. We live in a world of big business, big lawyers, big bankers, even bigger moneymen and big politicians. It is the world of "The Secret Team.” In such a world, the Secret Team is a dominant power. It is neither military nor police. It is covert, and the best (or worst) of both. It gets the job done whether it has political authorization and direction, or not. It is independent. It is lawless. This book is about the real CIA and its allies around the world. It is based upon personal experience generally derived from work in the Pentagon from 1955 to 1964. At retirement, I was Chief of Special Operations (clandestine activities) with the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff. Buckminister Fuller has written in Grunch of Giants: We can very properly call World War I the million dollar war and World War II the billion dollar war and World War III (Cold War) the trillion dollar war. If you want to double check, where do you research to ensure you actually know what you think you know? How do you know you can trust whatever source(s) you look at for verification? How can the "Cliffs Notes - No Time" crowd possibly verify their opinion is correct beyond making sure it's pretty much like the opinions of people they know or even respect? Most all beliefs are based around strong opinions. Seed bad data (everywhere), and a lot of opinions can be pre-decided. Start off with MSM/Fake News sell lies and opinions as hard fact, then compound it by not letting user internet searches show results contrary to what the opinion "should be" in the minds of some. Add to that, some "'unbiased' Fact Checking Sites" like Snopes which are sold as the final word and used as tools of censorship on social media. Not only does Snopes reference MSM and even wikipedia as 'evidence', they've been proven over and over to have an extreme left agenda, yet most people still only see "snopes said false" and their mind is permanently made up. We need to do their jobs, reading, learning, sharing. Make sure the important tidbits make it into this thread for those who glance can catch up. The whole list of things that people expect "The News" to do, well, that's now on us, to maybe give an example of how it's done. By "us", I mean the American public, who actually want to get out of the mess rather than taking the utterly lazy "let it burn" attitude. If you don't try to right it while it's possible (though looking bleak), you also can't complain about the outcome. |

The State Department has reportedly concluded their investigation in the Hillary Clinton email probe, finding violations by dozens of people.
The department’s internal investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of private emails reportedly found violations by 38 people, some of whom may face disciplinary action. The investigation found that the 38 people were found “culpable” in 91 cases of sending classified information in messages that ended up in Clinton’s personal email. The 38 people are current and former State Department employees, but none have been identified in the report sent to Congress.
