Call impeachment Kermit The Frog.

They want people mad at Kermit the Frog. He's highly visible, but It's not actually Kermit to worry about. People trying to think a step up end up at Steve Whitmore as the problem, and think removing him will stop the madness. Though above him, there is even more than Jim Henson, and at this point, the analogy goes recursive, as it's Disney running what Kermit says, not all the middlemen we know (and are taught to love or hate with no in between). As recently as a decade ago, I thought most all of this was an impossible and laughable conspiracy theory. After countless time spent trying to academically prove it, I failed. There IS Evil personified out there at many levels. Hopefully those who have the means will ensure Justice occurs. Even when doing so may put us into a couple centuries of Dark Ages Part 2. We're supported by a monster we cannot control nor live without. Think carefully about what we really want, not our immediate gratification, not even our children's or grand-kids happiness, this could go even beyond that. Literally Biblical (for the next civilization's bible if not our own).

Your brain does get awfully full, and sometimes it just seems so impossible, it's really fun to doubt yourself and call BS. Always question yourself as well as others. Remember the Walls we have which must be kicked down to see further, you don't even they were there until walking into one. Impeachment is a ripple in a pond compared to what may be going on behind the scenes. Nancy isn't terrified of what might happen to her pens or impeachment, she seems to be facing an existential threat to mess her up this badly, ever since that meeting with Trump.

Remember when you put me on ignore? In the original SP thread. For suggesting that you should be thrilled that Hillary Clinton hadn't been tried for crimes yet? Because judicial and le was still corrupt. Now it's part of the plan...no more clicking maybe? I'd guess most of us are in this together, even if we don't fully realize what exactly it looks like.

Edit to add, not an attack on you MCSquared, just making a point about putting people on ignore when dealing with a topic as vast as global corruption. Time has a way of making sense out of things that didn't seem likely in the past.

I have long maintained that I share far more values in common with those I have disagreed with over the years than they would care to admit. Framing an opposing view in a single light and freezing it there is the unfortunate nature of internet debate. It's lazy, but it happens.

I was born and raised in VA in an environment where it was virtually impossible not to come away with an appreciation of our history as a nation and VA's role in walking that path. VA has done this before, and properly. Hopefully it has the stomach to do it again.

Assuming any of what's suspected regarding any such "Atlanticist 5th Column" (increasingly I feel like this type of language may be referring to our "Them") is true, then I think Putin - while still not exactly a benevolent emperor - might well be someone who the Westerm MSM gave a kind of Trump media treatment long before POTUS came down the escalator.
