Stupid question here from the luddite.  What's the song?

Don't bother with predicting the future (or believing others' who say something will happen), first find out where you are now.   Look up the original .gov or other primary source documents on any given conspiracy theory.  Learn and think about what it is, and what the documented true things would require to be true (who would need to be involved or quiet, what else would have to happen, etc).  Compare that with things you can show are not true from more reading and research.

There is a lot of chaff thrown in, but that doesn't mean throw baby out with bathwater.  We're in a huge problem, from yellow vests in EU, protestors in Iran, NK, Iran, Brexit, and Virginia are all going through the turmoil right now of getting a peek at what They really have planned for us.  Virginia is an excellent local example.

Go back to the origins of "conspiracy theories".  The Fed, we know it is an artificial construct today, but go back 30 years and anybody questioning the longevity of it was a crazy conspiracy guy.   Read/watch what people 30-60+ years ago outlined was going to happen, and compare with what has actually happened.   For things like 1984, Atlas Shrugged, Brave New World, to be so 'coherent' with reality is a big clue that we didn't just stumble into this situation by accident.  McCarthy warned us in very clear terms, but that was a conspiracy that everybody ignored because it was just crazy talk conspiracy, that could never happen HERE (Unfortunately, most of his list is checked off as well).

I suppose my question is this:  Why are you worried about something being "wrong" or "disinformation"?   You don't change your activities and life because of it, you simply become aware of what is happening.  There is nothing to fear if you happen to think something is true which might not be, when not acting on it.

There are more people looking at activities of 'the elite'/.gov and documenting them to other people interested in Truth than ever before in the history of mankind.  Everybody is cross-checking each other. What has been learned does not match what we've been told.  That doesn't mean assume it's all true, only that there's a conflict - the sources and trail to how it became an idea are there for you to follow in more than one way.  Question everything, starting with what you think you know.

Why do you hold any opinion?  Grill yourself on every single one.  If you can't justify an opinion/stance you have on any random topic, it might be because you were told to believe it.   Sometimes, those are best to throw out first, especially any warning to read something because it might not be 'true'.  Following that would mean you couldn't watch any MSM news station.  They've been caught lying more than the new independent journalists, they are the ones terrified you'll realize they're actors who's job is to sell you a script and be happy about it.

The idea is to keep people fed and happy until all the monitoring is in place, then disarm, while making everybody think it's for the best.  Lots of "gosh, that was bad luck", millions of "if onlys" and a chorus of "told ya so" from proud pessimists, over and over and over.  If Hillary had won, we'd likely be merging the Dollar with the Euro by now, the very last bits of America looted.   If you'd like to believe their (MSM, celebs, etc) words, contrary to evidence clearly visible to anybody with a few minutes to actually look, read, and think, then we're not here to convince you otherwise.   We're merely trying to keep a clean pool to which the horses are led.

Personally, I'm here to learn more and decide for myself which bits are true and which are not.  You likely won't find two people in this thread that believe the same thing, even though we've been reading pretty much the same sources for 2 years.  The people in this thread are not a monolithic group the way The News would have you believe.  If you're afraid of finding something out that might upset you, or if the idea that somebody else believes something you do not, I only ask that you  go back to watching MSM news and let us research and chat.
