Yeah, I had to do a double take on that the other day.
Jeez man, cut back on the donuts. |

He gained a lot of weight to play Samwise and he never seemed to shake it. It became his new default setting.

He played a great asshole in 24.
And no, even Sam would have been eventually worn down by the Ring. Even though they were friends, Frodo couldn't have stoically supported Sam in the way Sam supported him. |

Yeah……… I’ve read some further musings from critics that believe that Frodo, Sam, Gimli and Bilbo did not actually get to go to Valinor itself and become immortal like the Elves, but spent the remainder of their lives on Tol Eressea/ The Lonely Isle and passed away there……. Gimli to wait in the halls with his kin set aside by Aule, and the Hobbits to pass beyond the circles of the world |

I couldn't get past the racism of the OP to delve into this thread.

View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Why do people always want to make that excuse for getting fat? Because people that are older typically move less, have less active jobs, have more injuries and take more medications for issues. Yep. After 4 broken bones and a knee cartilage clean up it’s a little harder to move fast. The fact that life eats up what used to be your spare time doesn’t help. I’ve learned not to criticize people I don’t know. |

So those mortals were allowed to go, and no doubt die, there, but the land is never dying Cool subject though |

Quoted: Getting fat is a choice, getting old isn't. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes We just had this exact conversation last night with the kids. My youngest asked how long mom had to do her diet for. I said that with her current goal it will probably be 9-12 months at least. Then she asked why it took so long and I told her because it can be very hard, and it takes time, and that's why so many people are so fat, because they choose to avoid doing the things that are hard to do. Then it took an interesting turn and the kid set a goal for herself to gain 5 lbs and asked how long that would take. I told her probably 4-5 months if she tried really hard. This kid is a bean pole, she's never liked eating, but is finally understanding why all the kids in her class are bigger and faster than her, and wants to change that.....protein shakes for days now, we're gonna fatten that kid up a bit. |

View Quote This is true, but if he had not been there at the end the ring would never have been cast back into the fire. Frodo was overpowered by the ring at the end. |
