Took almost a year to get them all fixed. I once had a facility with something like 15 or so Trane RTUs. They were mostly 25 ton units, a couple were less, and Trane had a lame brain idea that they could replicate the Copeland scroll at the proprietary level. Bad idea on their part. When I took control of the facility, I documented something close to 50% failure (it may have been 45%) with a Trane rep just 3 months shy of the units going out of warranty at their 5 year mark. I ended up getting a lot of free compressors. |

FUCK TRANE My experience was in 2005 and I ate the labor. Hell, I was the supervisor and training my guys how to undergo such a task. |
