Another ship I like is the Warhammer from Tachyon The fringe , It looks like a fighter that came off the same production line that the Firefly came off of .

only bad thing with most of the battletech warships is that the artwork suggests they have artificial gravity when they actually rely on G forces from thrust to provide gravity |

I looked over at my buddy, who was hauling ass outof the area, as I told him to do if I flubbed the turn. I told him, "My fire control just came back up." Him: "OK......." Me: "I'm at speed zero." Him: "Right..." Me: "He's close." Him: Yeeeeah....." Me: "He's in my forward arc." Him: "And?" Me: " I have 5 points of battery power." He busted up laughing. "I'm going to need some sensor channels. Dude. Time just stopped for you.' Fed: "Wha?...........Oh shit, the SFG?" Me:"Yep. Scatter pack one and two coming out of the shuttle bays. Three and four will come out next impulse." Fed: "I can't take that......Shit! I'm dead." His cousin, who had been rushing across the board, to get into the action, turned around and disengaged. |

Holy cow I remember spending a lot of time playing that game. Romulans sucked! Had to use them craftily. Scared the first guy to come at me off with Psudos once, which enticed my buddy to come in next. He "knew" I launched the real torps and was going to take full advantage. Boy was he surprised, when the "psudos" I launched when he got close gutted his ship. Had to run for my life for three turns after that, to get the torps back. |
