The picture is of this particular plane.  My wife and a couple of the guys she works with got a short ride around Spokane in it.  I did not.

I played hookie from work on tues and made the drive across state to see her come to her new home Tuesday, but they had a fuel leak that they had to fix. She ended up being delayed until Wed. Annoyed I couldn't be there.

There was a small airport near where I grew up. One of the Pitcarins had a couple of hangers full of sexy old planes. I remember seeing one of these
(a blue & yellow painted one) flying around while delivering newspapers as a lad.
