Ive noticed from time to time that members will comment when they see a tattoo or someone with a tattoo and cry about it and post that stupid f'ing faggotty sounding word "inkie"... first off that word truly does make one who says that sound very light in the loafers, almost like a todler.. or a gay tranny idk.. anyways what is the phobia with tattoos to yall?? are you guys like simps? do they make you scared? seriously i dont get it.
example in this thread where @9divdoc commented.. this thread which is pretty comical thread and everyone thought it was a funny pic yet someone freaked out and cried "inkies! " https://www.ar15.com/forums/General/New-Football-team-Salt-Lake-City-Caucasians/5-2481281/?page=1 I just dont get it, help me understand alot of members here have tatouazophobia and are just in denial about it.. |

Some folks don't like tats. I have some so I must like them. IDGAF what others think. My wife has none, but likes mine. That's all that matters to me.
|
|
It's not a phobia. We simply wish to live in a society without your inkie filth.
|
|
It's part kidding around and part Who Gives a Fuck.
No one has a fucking phobia, you either like ink or don't. |

Nothing offensive or anything and same with my wife. I understand some folks dont like tattoos and would never get one but to look down or be disgusted or scared of someone that has tattoos to the point they have to use that stupid word "inkie" is very odd to me. |

ARFCOM is full of ultra conservative fuddy duddy old dudes that hate all kinds of stuff. The type of dude who thinks tattoos = criminals, or that having one affects your job prospects, etc.

I don’t have any but they don’t bother me. I worked in racing and motorcycles, I was the oddball

I think they view them as a “class indicator”.For men with tattoos those are men to avoid for any number of reasons. For women it means she’s not some perfect fairytale princess...Kind of fucked up if you ask me.It’s judging people based on the color of their skin.

View Quote i guess so, i never understood it tho. I guess i dont like being judged and i dang sure dont judge someone by there skin or whats on there skin. so its odd to me that alot here do. and not just concerning tattoos. but whatever floats there boat i guess. Its the phobia of tattoos that really is cringy and strange in my book. to me it makes them look like little dweebs or simps who are like jealous of the manly man with tattoos that gets pussy all the time while they sit in the corner watching missonary style porn. ( of course with no tattoos on them) |

Reading the comments and opinions here, I'm pretty sure a majority of this forum is like 60yo +
Nothing wrong with that but just notice a lot of replies that remind me of something my dad (mid 70's) might say. The two that stand out the most... -Calling anything they don't like as being a "hipster" thing. I've seen this expression used on everything and it's always boils down to "something I don't like." -Seeing thread rants about styles, haircuts, clothing, expressions etc.. that I haven't seen popular in over a decade. Like half the time it sounds like people here are coming out of a cave from hibernation. |

I've never seen a woman and though, god she would look so much better with a bunch of random shit all over her body.

That is the answer you were seeking. maybe, i guess im trying to understand why they are trash in your eyes? honest question. Because "thugs" "gang members" "hoodlums" and people that are up to no good have tattoos. Most here are out of touch with modern society where you realize that everyone from doctors, lawyers, scientists, engineers, executives, and likely the accountant doing your taxes all have tattoos now. But police mugshots and tv/movies tells them it's trash. I personally think a lot of people here aren't around successful people. Like the pot threads where you see so many comments saying everyone that smokes pot is a loser with no drive. Again, that's because maybe these posters are mostly around losers and that's the only sample they see at their local bar. Where as if you hang out with successful people that are doctors, architects, engineers, lawyers, you start to realize, "Wow, a lot of these guys smoke pot on the weekend and have tattoos. Maybe tattoos/weed doesn't automatically make someone a loser after all." |

Why is OP getting so emotional about the fact that tattoos are dumb and also look terrible?
|
|

To me tattoos are another way to say "I like to draw little pictures but I keep loosing my sketch book"
Most 'tats have no real meaning. |

Some of the most successful people I know in life have visible tattoos, my friend group is late 20s early 30s.
My best friend has two tattoos on his inner forearms and makes high 6 figures. |

Tattoos | Sebastian Maniscalco: What's Wrong With People? |

I’ve never had bad sex with a chick that’s okay enough with life to be covered in ink...Just sayin’...Matter fact the top 3 chix I’ve ever banged all were covered in tatts.

Tattoos looks trashy on men but especially on women and they make an individual look less intelligent than they would otherwise. Get one if you want one, I don't care. On the upside it's a quick and convenient way to spot stupid people. Sure, there are a few exceptions (smart people that got one while extremely drunk, etc). Same with fat people. I'm sure there are exceptions but fats are lazy with poor self discipline.
