Possibly one of the funniest shows I've seen in a while! Si is my favorite.
Any thoughts? |

I love it. I wish I was one of their neighbors or something, they seem like some cool people.
My cousin Daryl is Jase Robertson's Doppleganger. Jesus beard, long hair, snarky attitude, whole nine yards.
One of my new favorites, wish I would have been watching since episode 1.
First episode I was like "meh".
Now? I DVR it's about the only thing I can stand to watch on TV. |
That's about the only show on TV I'll go out of my way to catch every episode...it's hysterical!

I've been a fan of their hunting DVDs for 10 years.
The show is great. Hey, Jack! A member here made smilies for Willie, Jase, Si and Phil. I don't remember where they are, though. |
Everyone I know who've met them say they're super nice. Good people.

A girl don't have to be pretty, as long as she carries a Bible, and can cook. Ain't a lot of pretty girls like that.

Miss Kate is baking something good tonight- Who? I'm always wondering why the boys call their parents "Miss Kay" and "Phil". I like the unsung hero - Jep lol, when they're moving that couch - "He's the littlest one, and look what you've got him doing." "He's a full grown man!" And my favorite Godwin quote is right before the donut eating contest when his stomach growls "I'm bout to starve to death!" My wife is sick of hearing me say that. |
I'll admit, when I was first introduced, I was only shown bits and pieces, and I thought it was the dumbest shit in the world.
Then I saw a couple episodes and changed my opinion 180. That show is amazing. |

They are good Christians as well. I dont watch the show but do support what they do. I think more than 1 of the group are preachers.

Si was convinced Willie just wanted them to mow his lawn. |

Im sure a lot of that is staged for the show, but I know if I had that kind of money I'd spend all day fucking around too

In one episode it shows him having "Duck Commander Sunday" and speaking in church. There are also youtube clips of him preaching. There's also a clip of Willie telling his story at Harding University. He explains how they can't believe it made it to TV because they talk so much about their faith. |

The Episode that really hooked me was when Jase just had to frog hunt in the water hazard at the country club. Phil bolts at the first sign of security and when Willie picks them up and proceeds to go off roading and gets his truck stuck. Awesome. Just fucking awesome.
I tells ya I think we all need a few more shinanigans like that in our daily lives. Makes life fun. Don't think my corolla would do the off roading part very well though |

In case you guys didn't know Si did over 20 years in the military before retiring in 1993 and is a Vietnam vet.
I would use the "Volkswagen Death Grip" on anybody that doesn't like that show
Yep. Me and the wife unit have watched every episode probably twice. Is theregoing to be a new season.
