Just pulled the trigger. At $7 a month, I can afford to stream it through the end of Season 7 of TCW. We’ll see if I keep it past then.

So a teaser for the final trailer for the next Star Wars movie dropped.  Looks like the Falcon has a wingman...

https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/22875/Rebels-New-720x405-1132923.jpg

I wonder if that's a flashback scene?  Looks like there's a U-wing under the Falcon, too.  (yeah, I know, screw the new movies, Disney sucks.)
I'm glad to see the Ghost and (remaining) crew have survived to this point. Love me some Hera.
It irks me that they did not pony up some money to fly Vanessa Marshall out for the big conference scene in R1 and actually show Hera at the base.

I watched the first episode of The Mandolorian and wow... that was awesome. When will the next episodes be releasing? On a weekly basis or something?

Enjoying it so far.   It’s refreshing to enjoy some Star Wars, for the first time in a few years.

He should.  Dave Filoni, too.  Why not put Star Wars in the hands of people who actually care about the material and its history?

Fuck Rian Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy.

Interesting. TCW was the third-most watched show on Disney Plus this week. This being despite being available on Netflix for years. Could it be that we may get the other unfinished episodes made with this kind of attention?

Yeah, it’s dark and not really clear, plus anyone who hasn’t seen the Mandalorian won’t know what it is . I figured it would catch people off guard

The EU is still dead. Disney killed it and is simply rifling through the pockets of the corpse.

The fact that they canonized Gilad Pellaeon again doesn't give me hope since the First 9rder is the new Imperial Remnant and it is dumber than dog shit in how it is being portrayed on screen.

Article seemed to praise KK. I'm not sure how I feel about this show coming back. Yeah, they listened but at what cost? Guess we'll just find out in February how much Kunteddy has her slimy dirty claws in it.

Upon further reflection, they probably brought it back to try to appease some of the fans they lost with TLJ, not as a gesture of goodwill. That being said, I’m thinking that it should be fine despite Disney’s involvement. The scripts were already written long before we got into this mess and the Mandalorian has been pretty damn good so far.

In Rebels, when Kanan and Ezra entered the Jedi temple on Lothal, Yoda used the Force to communicate with them while they were in the temple. Using that logic, it's possible that Ashoka did the same thing when Rey was hearing voices of Jedi who have become one with the force. She's escaped death's clutches before.

Or maybe she's also one with the force at that point. At this point it's anyone's guess.

Yes, of course.  However TCW season 7 is being released after RoS.  So saying that she is still alive is true...from a certain point of view.

That doesn't mean TCW season 7 is taking place after ROS.

Chronologically within Star Wars, of course not.  It takes place at the close of the Clone Wars.  From our point of view, it comes out after RoS, so she can be dead there and yet "still alive."

ETA: in case that wasn't clear enough, the same thing happened with Episode 7 and Solo.  Han Solo died in 7, yet a year later, we saw him "still alive" in Solo.

This is more what I’ve been thinking. My bet is she communicated with Rey in the same manner. Unless she met her end through unnatural means, she would only be about 70 years old at this point, and it therefore would not out of the realm of possibility that she would still be alive.

I think the abbreviation Ros needs to be dropped.  Asoka was alive after revenge of the sith and alive until after return of the Jedi.  I’ve not seen anything to suggest she’s is or isn’t alive through the new crap they’ve put out.

Tcw season 7 should be the wrap of the Mandalorian saga so based off the book Asoka, we know that she fights Mawl and then takes her death and lives on to start working eight the early form of the rebellion.

Wasn’t the Clone Wars available on Netflix? When did they pull it?

I need to learn to watch these things sooner rather than later.

Edit: quick search reveals that Clone Wars was no longer available on Netflix in April 2019.
