Just stumbled across this thread. The wife and I (she's a HUGE Star Wars fan) liked season 1 but weren't blown away by it. Decided it's kind of a "take it for what it's worth, spaghetti-western version of Star Wars but don't get your hopes up".
Even with those expectations...damn, season 2 sucks so far. |

Interesting. I remember most of the same little details (watching the battle, talking with Biggs) from the SW comic, which has long since vanished.

I found this guy making Razor Crest knobs. He has two sizes, a screen accurate one and a bigger shift knob sized one. I ordered the bigger one for my car. It amuses me to no end to spin it off so my kids can play with it in the back seat.

This show captures the essence of Star Wars. This last episode had some Rogue One vibes, with the storm troopers trapped in the corridors, and them all getting gunned down. You have the juxtaposition of Vader mowing down Rebels and Mandalorians shooting Stormtroopers. Seriously, outside of the EU is better than this? |

In the beginning of the episode a four legged walker/crane picks the razor crest out of the water. Weren’t ATATs based on port cranes Lucas could see from his office or something? I thought that was a nice touch. |

View Quote I don’t remember if it was in the actual season or the “making of” show but the Mandalorians who rescued him as a child had DW shoulder insignia. They were always the “extremist” sect in the eyes of the other Mandos so it didn’t really shock me that they were the only ones who wouldn’t remove their helmets. I did like that he had no idea others removed them and automatically assumed they weren’t Mandalorians. |
