Another confrontation took place, and he told officers that he was having shortness of breath. They called for an ambulance and he was taken to the hospital. He died 3 days later. I just don't see how that's appalling, disgusting, and whatever else they called it. Yeah, I'm sure there are some things being left out. But why won't they release the footage? If it's that bad, then it needs to be shown. Those 5 officers were all investigated and fired. And they'll all likely face charges (according to the news reports I've read). And I can't imagine how bad this would be if those officers were all white instead of black. Memphis might be burned to the ground if they were. There's likely be another LA riots, a la 1992, happening. Coincidentally, I just watched a video about it from the perspective of a guy who lived there at the time and what he saw. He went to most of the major locations that were shown on the news back then and talked about everything that happened at those places. The part you left out is supposedly the video shows that the cops are the reason he needed an ambulance and the hospital. |

They’ve already done an end around on that one. Race isn’t a factor with the police officers but it is with the suspect. Too many years of news media treating low iq people seriously. When the adults were in charge, reporters would have started laughing and walked out of the press conference and absolutely wouldn’t have embarrassed themselves or their employers by publicizing bull shit. |
