Solich had the best first years record of any coach at Nebraska but they chewed him up and spit him out. Ever since it’s just been a shit show plagued with horrible consistency top to bottom. No coach in their right mind will want to work at Nebraska anymore. Urban Meyer????? Nebraska has nothing to lose. IMO, they should contact him. Him and Hugh Freeze would be on my list Les Miles or Pete Carrol Les is available now too Suh just tweeted he's ready to be the head coach of Nebraska |

Having said that, he’s an awesome collegiate HC and I’d love to have him at Texas because he wins and when he leaves, your program will be loaded with talent. |

Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Seems like the AP Poll gets it wrong a lot until later in the season. I think the playoff people mostly get it right, but they don't start those rankings until later in the year. Several top ranked teams went down or had so so games. I'm just using MS State as an example, because we've been severely underrated this season. In all the human polls we aren't ranked at all. In these power ranking and Vegas polls we are at #9 and #8. https://www.espn.com/college-football/fpi https://www.actionnetwork.com/ncaaf/2022-college-football-betting-power-ratings I'm interested to see where we end up in the human polling coming out later today. TTU Beat a top 25 team and went down 6 spots in FPI That’s dumb. It’s punishment for their fans rushing the field when not only was their team not the underdog, but they didn’t even cover the spread. |

urban aint going to nebraska. he'll get back into coaching but it'll be a bigger name. texas is the most likely, though sark bought himself some time with the game against bama. lets see how the rest of the season goes. USC probably couldve gotten him too if they hadnt landed riley. and watch to see how hot freeman's seat gets an ND. any chance the irish would take urban?
patterson is gonna get a job somewhere at the end of the season and nebraska would be a good fit for him. |

View Quote I doubt Urban ever coaches at TEXAS after the last two years worth of antics. Although, if we lose to an FCS school and have another couple years of 5-7, that stuff would likely be overlooked. |

I'm sure there are a few schools out there willing to sell their souls for a couple good years and a possible championship run with Meyer.
I'd be shocked if Nebraska was one of them though. |

You don’t start jumping on the coaching carousel over 1 game. Who has that vicious cycle worked out for? Tech fans should be all too aware of that. Dude went 9-1 two years ago vs a straight SEC schedule. Then last year beat Bama with an injury filled lineup and backup QB who now is Auburns #3. Let’s not give up on him quite yet. But his hard headed ass really needs to give another QB a chance. If I have 1 complaint with Jimbo it’s his loyalty to his selected starter at QB. King has 3 full games under his belt now vs FCS and G5 competition and hasn’t had a great game yet. |

They’re remodeling Kyle Field again already to add another 26 suites. That’s a great indication of the money there. Those boxes are 1 million plus. For what 6 games a year? lol |

View Quote lol Great overall. Funny we’ve reached a point where Bama can win and be ridiculed. Wish the Ags could reach a point if you didn’t blow everyone out it was considered failure. No disrespect to Texas because they played great but think about how bad Bama played and still won. That actually says a lot. Most teams do that and they get spanked by anyone. |
