I like her. I'd much rather my little girl be a Taylor Swift fan than Ke$ha or Britney. I'm not too fond of this new direction her music has taken, but her older stuff was pretty great.

Taylor's a doll and is very, very generous with her money.

She is PAID to SING. Her occupation is "SINGER". She could at least afford to get some singing lessons because she absolutely CANNOT SING LIVE. Not even a little.

The only song she has done that her breathy, pitchless voice sounds decent on is "Safe and Sound" because it actually matches that style.

I would say 90% of the people I had aural skills/sightsinging classes with could sing better than her and they weren't even vocalists for the most part.

There are thousands of musicians that sing live. It's only unique among teenage bubblegum pop.

Seriously, I can't stand her music at all. If f had a daughter going into that industry, I would rather have her be like Taylor swift(a bit crazy but has class/style) than Miley/Gomez/Britney(train wreck slutty).

Adult music in "country" is an oxymoron. Examples: Red Solo Cup, Achy breaky heart... All country music whines about breakups with lovers, or getting drunk. She fits in, though she is going more pop lately.

I mean yeah, after she gets all dolled up she's attractive, but go bar hopping in most major college towns and you'll see dozens of better looking women.

This. Her music is shit IMO and there is nothing country about any of it, or many other singers found on the radio today. Good on her for her success though.
