My Century AK is nowhere near as accurate as my AR.
That said, I have run several thousand rounds through it, and every one of them went downrange. And I have cleaned it maybe 3 times. I also only paid $319 for it a few years ago, NIB. I picked up the bulk of my ammo at $2.86 a box of 20. What's not to like? |

They are parts kit guns, old M16s coverted over to AR15s with barrels from DPMS according to what I've read. I bought mine back in Dec. after I got my yearly bonus. The day I bought mine, Dance's Sporting Goods, had 2 Century ARs and 2 from Para-Ordinace. I went with the Century because it was only $700 and the Paras were between $2000 and $3000. Does not compute? |

Havent you ever read a gun rag, (this is what we used to read before the interweb) Have you ever read a bad write up on anything? I remember gunwriters used to write positive reviews of even the biggest hunks of poo. Free guns, Free ammo and a fat paycheck can make men say things they might not say. I remember a few years back there was a company(cant remember the name) This guy had a 1911, glock, hybrid. It was a total tool. Never got off the ground. The guy took deposits and never followed through......the pieces the gun writers got to shoot was the most innovative. well thought out next big thing in firearms......Ted is probably just cashing a fat check...in this day and age who can blame him. Or maybe that damn yankee just has cat scratch fever jk

Years ago I read an article by Nugent in one of the bow magazines where he went on about his inner cave man and putting deer blood on himself. At least around here anyone acting like that would not be asked back.
The shitting on himself to avoid the draft thing has been hashed out here before and someone came up with a photo of the magazine article where he talked about what he did to avoid the draft. I think Nugent now denies doing any of those things. I saw two episodes of some VH 1 show where it was him and a bunch of older/second string rockers in a band that vh 1 through together. I was surprised that he seemed pretty likeable and normal (I guess at least by comparison to the other guys) in that show. |

I bought one of their L1A1 FAL's back in the early 90's & it was a useless piece of dogshit!!! If you could get it to shoot 3 times in a row without a stoppage it was a miracle! And you couldn't hit a bull in the ass at 10 yards with it! Nothing but a useless piece of dogshit. Oh, I already said that. Well, it needed saying again! And it was too light for a boat anchor. I passed it off on another unsuspecting dumbass.
And Century Arms didn't pay me to say this. |

Just a wild guess. OK, then, to put it bluntly, you have nothing with which to supply my in terms of corroboration for your allegations? I never saw the vids you allege, but I'm not saying they didn't exist, either. Point is, you're making allegations that you can't back up to another, disinterested person. Let me repeat, I am not a Nugent devotee. OTOH, I dislike seeing someone's rep dragged through the muck with no objective, verifiable certs, either. Would you like these things said about YOU? Without some back-up? Let's forget, for the moment, that Nugent is a politically active figure, and it would suit some folks' interests to discredit him any way possible, including unfounded, internet innuendo. I am NOT accusing you of doing so, but in the future, I just might take a dim view of someone repeating an internet "legend" without a shrred of proof. I don't want X number of folks saying they saw a certain vid, or read a certain quote, i would want to see, or read, it for myself. If YOU were in the cross-hairs, so to speak, I would think you would want the same consideration. I know I sure would. |

Gun butchers Whenever you hear someone on TV praise a product of any kind especially on outdoor and sporting shows the first thing that should pop in your head is the sponsor is paying them, second thing is if a sponsor is not paying them then they are fishing for a new sponsor. I worked it the industry and many of you would be shocked at just how corrupt it is. Most everyone is a pimp or whore.
