Tacos.
But that's not going to happen. The good thing is there is no one in the family I don't enjoy spending time with. Her side or mine. |

Good food. Your best.
Don't care if it's turkey, steaks, prime rib or ham. |

Turkey and stuffing. Pretty much everything else is optional, but without turkey and stuffing, it's not Thanksgiving.

Quoted: Turkey and stuffing. Pretty much everything else is optional, but without turkey and stuffing, it's not Thanksgiving. View Quote I've been to so many non-traditional Thanksgiving dinners that I no longer feel this way. I've had pizza, brisket, fish sticks, chicken fajitas, finger foods, steaks, burgers, cornish hens, chicken, and probably some things I've forgotten. And yes, I've had turkey and ham, too. |

OP made an excellent point. I'd say that after turkey, giblet dressing is the next most important ingredient.

I have an unorthodox recommendation for the next day’s leftover sandwich.
A nice crispy slice of Scrapple. That’s right…Scrapple. Hell, it’s already almost stuffing: pork, sage, cornmeal, pork trimmings..…mmmm Also a good addition to a stuffing recipe. |
