I posted a pic on my dog’s instagram page and it only got six likes.

WTF? I was here yesterday and everything was normal and conservative (as it fucking should be), and today AR15.com is socialist? God damn Ferris Bueller was right - life DOES move pretty fast.

Do you know why Bradders got banned? Certainly wasn't over his political views. He'd snuck back and was posting here pretty openly, or at least I knew who he was but figured he was pretty sick and ignored the whole thing. View Quote To the OP: I'm sorry man, but I'm just not seeing it. And isn't it strange that two people that have been here for almost the same amount of time have perspectives 180 degrees apart? Confirmation bias is a powerful thing. |

Apparently on ARFCOM, the words "socialist" and "communist" now mean "anything I don't like or agree with" View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

Let me guess OP, this is really about people saying bad things about President Trump isn't it.

there is heavy moderation here?
only thing I have seen was Sylvan and Chase getting goaded into COC infractions, but the DaveA's doing the provoking should have gotten the time out not those 2 |

3 parts Jose Cuervo Margarita Mix
1 part Gold Tequila (Cuervo or Sauza) 1 splash Triple Sec 1 splash Blue Curacao (When it looks like Windex, you've got it just right) 1 generous wedge of lime, per glass, fresh squeezed. Ice - Wayne prefered his 'rita frozen, but when served out at the Hun Farm, on the rocks was tradition. From the late Eric the Hun. |

Quoted: I love El Paso. It is our goal to move there. The people of El Paso are great and the city is awesome. Beto made a comment about the people of El Paso and the city, I posted here that I agreed with him...GD went full retard on me. We wont even bring up music threads.. View Quote people were talking about beto pushing gun control you posted how you agreed with beto, with no context multiple people gave you the or criticized you for agreeing with beto you attacked back, and to save face, you claimed that you heard something on the radio, about beto talking about bringing the city together or some such b.s. - something none of the board would have know, if that is what happened. |

I've been thinking about this lately. I'm not so sure that it is management's fault, at least not totally.
Yeah, some of the latest bans are bummers, people I like get the ax, and the annoying_ones ride the razor's edge, being smart enough to draw others off sides. Cest la vie. But, if you look at other forums, or hell, even life in general, it seems to go in a pretty predictable cycle. Things get started, they grow, get big, plateau, then eventually die off, either through attrition, changing trends, mismanagement, whatever. Remember ICQ? Remember AOL chatrooms? How about MySpace? Geocities? I think it is an issue of nostalgia. I started lurking around 2000, and joined in 2004. Read a lot of crazy shit over the last 19 years here. Some of those posters left (because they wanted to), lots of them have died, others were banned. As much as I want it to come back, the Arfcom of yesteryear is but a memory, save for the archives I guess. 'Twas wonderful. Really special. I don't know what the future holds for this venture, hell none of us do. This silly website has been my .com home for almost two decades, and I suppose it will continue to be for the foreseeable future. |

We got it mostly pretty good here
I think we should be able to tell people to fuck off though |

Place went down hill when the photoshop request threads turned more into "Tag, this ought to be good." rather than actual participation ARFCOM GD reminds me 100% like Twitter. I made a few forecasts about what is going to happen with Brownells calling the shots now...1 of them at least I know of has already happened. View Quote |

Traditionally, conservatives are the type who invoke censorship, not progressives. That's some serious lol material. Maybe the Khamir Rouge doing the same or the Muslims killing Christains and burning Churches. Maybe he's talking about the Conservative KKK members of the Democratic Party killing Blacks and keeping them from politics until the late 1960s. |
