My mother is a redhead nurse who used to own a horse and used to be a little crazy. But the OP is correct. My dad is very happy and they have been married for over 50 years.
It also helps to be married to a nurse when you get old and need someone to help you with health and medical issues. |

30 years with my first nurse wife.
We’ve been through (in no particular order) family health crises in each other parents, cancer, orthopedic operations, deaths and she’s been amazing! I can’t argue with my result, but i do know RNs who are batshit crazy. Since most of the RNs i know are women, methinks there is the common thread—not scrubs. |

She's very passionate and emotional. Others she's very detailed oriented and logical. I can't figure her out.

My sister is a trauma nurse. She married a male nurse, has five kids, and is still married after 30 years. Killing it financially, too.
My daughter-in-law is an ER nurse, married to my son for five years. She is killing it financially too, doing much better than Mrs. Pirate and I at that age. I find my sister and DIL have many of the same attributes, personality traits, mannerisms, etc. Iron fist in a velvet glove sorta thing going on with both of them. And both will tell you without prompting or reservation, that nurses are overwhelmingly batshit crazy, gold-digging whores...to be avoided at all costs. No, I am not kidding.  Attached File |

I spent about 30 minutes in the ER nurse’s station last week waiting to get a patient cleared to go to jail. The nurses (80% female) were foul mouthed, disgusting and as vulgar as Soldiers. I felt right at home. Patient ended up being admitted for psyche evals so I left empty handed.

Dated several. My studies have shown that on average they:
1) have a good sense of humor (dark) 2) are good/adventurous in bed 3) can handle their alcohol 4) tilt toward the crazy end of the spectrum |

Bullshit. My ex wife was a total pain the ass, know it all. We were together for ten years, I paid for all her school and about a year into her working she showed her true shitbag self. Most of the nurses I see on a daily basis were all just entitled, opportunists, looking for the random dick that would deal with their shit. Avoid at all costs.
